Just up the river from our nation's capital lies a hidden gem—Potomac, Maryland. Its rolling hills, gated mansions, sophisticated prep schools, and exclusive country clubs all serve to keep the area invitation-only. Sprinkled throughout this community are a handful of old-line, wealthy African-American families who have historically broken racial barriers to provide a life of privilege for their children. The Real Housewives of Potomac follows the upscale lives of six intriguing, well-to-do women: Gizelle Bryant, Katie Rost, Karen Huger, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, Robyn Dixon, and Ashley Darby, all of whom have fought for their places in this society by way of legacy or marriage. In a town where entry is granted only through class, pedigree, and lineage, how far will these ladies go to secure their spot at the top of this prestigious circle?
Karen navigates life after her release. Wendy and Eddie adjust to a new normal. Old friends and lingering tensions resurface at a Washington Wizards game hosted by new-to-town WAG Courtney. Tia is presented with rumors about her personal life and is forced to face some hard truths.
Karen celebrates her return home with a party theme that no one can decode; Gizelle tries to restore her friendship with Tia; Stacey restores her romance with Thiemo; a former green-eyed ally peeps Gizelle's messy antics.
Robyn pushes Ashley and Gizelle to do better as Tia discovers that Gizelle hasn't been as sensitive as she would expect. Stacey and Thiemo take a big step, but luxury event planner Courtney is not considered for hiring. Alexis' birthday party goes awry when the ladies hijack the festivities.
Gizelle heads to Capitol Hill to take the next step in her advocacy work. The ladies learn some new information about Courtney.
