The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo

Bill Paterson narrates highlights of the event held on the esplanade of Edinburgh Castle, while Aasmah Mir goes behind-the-scenes to meet some of the performers and get a flavour of how this enormous event comes together. The British Army is at the fore, with the bands of the Scots Guards, the Irish Guards and the Royal Regiment of Scotland, complemented by international performers including the New Zealand Army Band, the Tobago Defence Force Steel Orchestra and the Beijing Marching Wind Band and Cultural Display Team.
