The Three Day Nanny is called to Northamptonshire, where the Scott family are at breaking point. Three-year-old Bobbie and two-year-old Freddie will pinch, punch, kick or bite anyone in sight and parents Chris and Becky seem unable to stop the onslaught. Kathryn Mewes visits the Smith family and attempts to ban smacking and restore order in a house where communication has broken down and chaos rules. The Smiths have turned to Kathryn in a desperate attempt to regain some control over their unruly children - Alessandro, Carmelina and Luciano. The kids rule the roost fighting and biting anyone who gets in their way, while ignoring their mum when she pleads with them to stop. After a full day of mischief they then spend every night bed-hopping, meaning no one in the house has slept properly in years. When Kathryn arrives at the family home on Stockton-on-Tees, she first has to deliver some tough home truths for parents Anthony and Angeline - it's them who have to change, not the children. Kathryn introduces a range of clever techniques. But when the kids fight back, dad is put to the test.
