The Town Taking On China follows Tony Caldeira who is a man on a mission. He wants to create British workforce who can defeat the economic might of China using just cushions. Until recent years manufacturing in China was cheap and British manufacturing couldn't compete. Cushion maker Tony, like many businessmen, turned to Chinese workers to create his products but high wages in China means that Tony is now stsrting an ambitious experiment to bring jobs back to Britain.
