Dong Jin is recognized as the best in the field of data mining. The reason he majored in statistics at his university was because of Mi Jung and his wish to help her. Dong Jin and Mi Jung attended the same high school and he had crush on her, but she was called a witch. Since Mi Jung was little, strange things occurred around her like all the guys who liked her died or got injured. 10 years after school graduation, Dong Jin happens to meet Mi Jung again. She has now cut herself off from the world, believing her fate is cursed, but she wants to go out into the world. In hopes of Mi Jung breaking out of her shell, Dong in wants to prove that all these unfortunate incidents are not because of her. To prove his thesis, he investigates all the situations when guys around her got hurt. Risking his life, he finally finds the law of misfortune around her.
Dong-jin takes on a delivery job at the supermarket where Mi-jung regularly shops. Every Tuesday, as he delivers her orders, he begins to test the theory he's been developing about her. Gradually, he pushes the boundaries of his own rules, discovering just how dangerous it can be to remain within a ten-meter radius of her. Yet, despite the growing risks, his deepening desire to be closer to her and to linger in her presence threatens to draw him into ever greater peril.
Aware of the dire consequences of getting too close for too long, Dong-jin plunges into the river in a desperate attempt to save himself. However, Mi-jung recognises him, intensifying the danger he's already in. As he recovers in the hospital, Dong-jin turns to Producer Heo, seeking her help to identify a key variable in his hypothesis that might hold the solution he is desperately searching for.
Dong-jin mysteriously disappears, leaving Eun-sil deeply worried about his fate. Desperate for answers, Eun-sil implores Joong-hyuk to use his detective skills to find him. As Joong-hyuk delves into the case, he recalls the past with Dong-jin, uncovering hidden clues Dong-jin left behind. In the process, Joong-hyuk uncovers Dong-jin's statistical analysis and decides to test it by approaching Mi-jung.
Joong-hyuk reveals Dong-jin's work to Park Mi-jung, unveiling the deeper motivations behind it. As he uncovers that Dong-jin's analysis contains subtle references to him, Joong-hyuk begins to apply Dong-jin's rules to his own life, growing increasingly close to Eun-sil. Meanwhile, in a distant country, Dong-jin patiently waits for Mi-jung, holding onto the words he has long kept hidden, eager to finally speak them aloud.
