Next Episode of This Old House is
This Old House's mission is to demystify the home improvement process and to celebrate the fusion of old world craftsmanship and modern technology. Each season features two renovation projects. Project One traditionally consists of eighteen or so episodes and is filmed in Massachusetts. Project Two is generally taped in a different region of the country to highlight the variety of American architectural styles and renovation issues.
A new project on an 1895 Victorian in Belmont, Mass., begins; sprucing up a school garden; installing a whole house fan.
Saving plants; demolition begins; Victorian detail tour; repairing window pulleys; using a chainsaw; improving an electrical connection to a garage.
Replacing lally columns; Homer House tour; salvaging a hardwood floor; patching up a pothole in the driveway; nightstand project.
Installing flitch beams; tour of a laminated veneer lumber factory; rear-mounted toilet; landscape plan; trip to Germany.
Framing the front porch; ductwork; Brimfield Fair, an outdoor antique show; furnishings.
