This series is about a widowed photographer and his two sons who tour the country in a camper, taking freelance photo assignments and having adventures..A wholesome family-type series with a nice kind of moral thing in each episode. TFTR centers on a rugged 40-year-old widower — a free-lance photographer—who decides to take his two teen-age sons with him as he crosses America pursuing assignments. Alex Rocco plays Pete Karras, the father, with Vincent Van Patten and Leif Garrett as his sons. the show was the first MTM enterprises' dramatic series.
