The duo begin by exploring the sprawling showground in Harrogate. Dave and Rob Nicholson of Cannon Hall Farm showcase their prized shire horse, Saffron, along with her foal, Yorkshire Rose. Julia dives into the delicious world of cheese, and in the 'People's Pig' competition, members of the public and judge Yorkshire Vet Peter Wright get to choose their favourite swine.

Jules spends time with the expert falconry team, who thrill audiences with two live demonstrations each day. Animal welfare is at the heart of the show, and with thousands of animals on site, it's no small task. Jules catches up with one of the event's vets to understand how they keep the animals safe, healthy, and ready for competition. Julia visits a variety of skilled crafters, and beekeeper Chris Smailes hopes to add another award to his growing collection.
