Tomo and Junichiro are fired up for the school marathon. They start out neck-and-neck at the head of the pack, but when they reach the girls' turn-around point...

Tomo wants to earn money for a birthday present for Junichiro, so she works part-time at the ramen restaurant owned by Tanabe's family. Later, their class prepares for its presentation of "Cinderella" at the cultural festival.

Junichiro finally confronts his own feelings for Tomo, and Tomo questions whether she really wants the friendship they have to turn into something else.

Tomo begins to wonder why Junichiro always seems so calm and collected around her, even though she always feels flustered around him. Then she finds out that Junichiro made a certain deal with her father...
