Andrew Younghusband (Canada's Worst Driver) will find out first-hand as he delves into the world of terrifying heights, extreme sports, tough trades, small spaces and strange hobbies.Younghusband's wild quest will take him into the dangerous, weird and just plain tough, as he meets people driven by passion, who do jobs and partake in pastimes that often look impossible. But are they? In each episode, with minimal training, Younghusband will struggle to keep up with the pros and experts as they explain what they do, while showing him the ropes. Then, he is left on his own to do the job himself and determine, is it really Tougher Than It Looks? From working as a window cleaner on a dauntingly high skyscraper and wing walking on a bi-plane in mid-air, to barefoot water skiing and racing lawnmowers, nothing is too scary or obscure for Younghusband to try at least once.
Andrew tries to hang 10 as he tackles winter surfing, attempts to ride the waves of a FloRider in Florida, and tries to stay balanced as he drops into the skateboard half-pipe.
Andrew saddles up and enters the world of rodeo to try his hand at rodeo trick roping, rodeo clowning and even bull riding.
Andrew travels to Prince Edward Island to harvest oysters in winter, chain-sawing through solid ice and diving in the freezing water; he heads to Florida to catch big game fish while balancing in a kayak in the open ocean.
Andrew tries the extreme sport of snow biking, teams up with a professional freestyle rider to learn how to jump dirt bikes, and pedals through the busy streets of Toronto as a bike courier.
Andrews plunges 170 feet down to see what it takes to become an underwater construction worker in a hostile environment.
Andrew joins the Urias family and attempts to ride a motorcycle in the Globe of Death, climbs to a platform in the sky and tries his hand at the flying trapeze, and breathes fire.
Andrew tries to not fall down as he tackles pairs skating, including spins, jumps, death spirals and the star lift with an Olympic athlete; next he tries wake boarding, being towed behind a motorboat at speeds up to 40 km/hr.
Andrew tackles some farm chores, including inseminating a cow, sheep shearing, and being a farrier.
At the International and North American Scottish Heavy Events Competition in Fergus, Ontario, Andrew faces off against some of the top highland games athletes in the world, attempts the highland fling, plays the bagpipes.
Andrew joins professional trainers in an intensive course on whitewater river rescue techniques, and attemps to rescue a stranded rock climber on the sheer face of a 100-foot cliff along the Niagara Escarpment.
