After a botched ANCCO raid leaves an officer and a young suspect dead, prosecutor Laurentiu Cretu secretly continues his pursuit of the Mustata crime family. Meanwhile, Bogdan gambles away money owed to a dangerous drug dealer, bringing violence into his parents' home and pushing him toward Marius Mustata—until Laurentiuu discovers that Bogdan is secretly dating his daughter.

As Omar's deadline approaches, Doru is drawn into Bogdan's increasingly desperate attempts to repay his debt. While Maria risks her safety to help him, father and son place their last hope—and their remaining money—on a final gamble.

Doru secretly cooperates with Laurentiu after Marius forces him and Bogdan to make a dangerous delivery. When the job ends in a deadly explosion, Doru's attempt to save his son only pushes Bogdan closer to the criminal world.

After Don Dumitru orders Marius to find a driver for a major transport, Bogdan leaves home and steps deeper into the Mustata organization. As Doru and Emilia confront the failures that pushed their son away, Laurentiu and Andreea close in on the mole inside ANCCO.

After witnessing Andu's murder, Doru helps a traumatized Bogdan dispose of his friend's body while Marius tries to eliminate every trace of the crime. As Laurentiu brings the family in for questioning, Doru risks everything to protect his son, a decision that earns him the trust of Don Dumitru and pulls him deeper into the Mustata organization.

As Bogdan struggles with guilt over Andu's death, Doru tries to keep him from becoming like Marius while continuing to work undercover inside the Mustata organization. Laurentiu risks everything by publicly accusing Monica of corruption, forcing her and the Mustata family to confront the growing scandal. Maria discovers she may be pregnant, while Marius's relationship with his father deteriorates further. When Monica proposes sacrificing Marius to protect the organization, he snaps and kills her. With Doru drawn deeper into Don Dumitru's world, he and Bogdan are ultimately pulled into the upcoming transport together.

With the Mustata transport hanging in the balance, Doru desperately tries to keep Bogdan out of danger while Laurentiu and Don Dumitru circle each other over the case. Maria's pregnancy creates a new conflict between the two fathers, as Laurentiu wants her to end it while Doru believes the decision belongs to Maria and Bogdan. Meanwhile, Marius begins acting against his father's wishes, and Bogdan, increasingly afraid of what Marius might do, turns to Omar for help.
