Next Episode of Truth & Iliza is
not planed. TV Show was canceled.
Comic Iliza Shlesinger hosts Truth & Iliza, a late-night talk show that features episodes that revolve around particular themes, in the form of a question that Iliza tries to answer. She uses audience interaction, field pieces, commentary and -- what she's best known for -- jokes to help her find the answers she seeks. The weekly series focuses on discussing the sociopolitical issues of the day, whether they involve necessary discussions or more inane topics. As Iliza puts it, the show "occupies a space between social commentary, politics, pop culture and my specific brand of comedy and feminism".
Iliza shares her observations on the May Day protests and powerful women; actress Mayim Bialik; performer Alyssa Edwards; a restaurant serves food in bite-size portions.
Iliza discusses social awareness, problematic societal norms and safe spaces with CNN political commentator Symone Sanders and actor Jeffrey Self; Iliza demonstrates how getting woke is a pyramid scheme.
Female competition; Iliza's female vulnerability kit makes successful women less intimidating; being a bad feminist; actress Ariel Winter.
Iliza tackles the stereotypes that plague millennials by asking elders for their advice and getting the last word on social media; guests Troian Bellisario and Norman Lear.
Despite advances in technology and faster methods of communication, Iliza wonders if people are actually saying less; new emojis; Iliza hosts a seminar and asks people to share secrets for cash.
Iliza discusses women's body issues and beauty standards, navigates the world dressed as a vagina, asks audience members to draw reproductive systems, and complains about inspirational quotes.
