Premier League champions Leicester City, who make their first appearance in the competition, travel to the Belgian capital to take on Club Bruges. Due to the redevelopment of White Hart Lane, Tottenham Hotspur are playing their home games at Wembley, where they entertain 2004 finalists Monaco. Pep Guardiola's Manchester City begin their campaign against Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach. Meanwhile, Arsenal have a difficult start in Paris against French champions PSG, and Brendon Rodgers' Celtic face an equally tough test against Barcelona.
