A series of drone attacks is shaking up the idyllic yachting world on Lake Constance. So-called "Saviors of the World" are using drones to place packages containing ticking time bombs on the boats.
That was not at all what Nele had imagined. The anniversary celebration for her high school graduating class on the event ship "Wilbert" ends the next morning with the death of her former classmate, Conny Wilbert.
After robbing a gold transport, the perpetrators flee across Lake Constance. When their boat's engine fails, Tamara Sedlak and her boyfriend Antonio Krusewitz hijack Frederik Schick's boat. When he resists, a shot is fired from Antonio's gun.
The gasping emergency call that reaches Nele and Julia over the radio while they're on patrol comes from commercial fisherman Heiko Frömmke. The two find him dead on his yacht. Heart failure.
The shots fired at Nele come without warning. Hit, she collapses onto the deck right in front of Paul. The Drako, the seemingly unmanned yacht the two had intended to board, picks up speed and disappears.
Nele is suspected of murder and, while in prison, can't remember anything. She is alleged to have shot Sandro Kubitschek in the heat of the moment when he came to her home to threaten her.
