Next Episode of Without Limits: Vietnam is
not planed. TV Show was canceled.
Six people with different physical disabilities embark on an ambitious and emotional adventure of a lifetime through the diverse landscapes of Vietnam. Although shadowed by film and safety crews, the group are in charge of their journey, navigating the route and the difficult access in a country ill-equipped for disability.
In the 4x4 is Vicky Balch, who lost her leg after the now well-publicised rollercoaster accident at Alton Towers in 2015. She's determined to restore her independence, but suffers an early set-back when the car's brakes fail. On the motorbikes are Louise Halvey, who has progressive hearing loss and must negotiate the chaos of Hanoi traffic; and marathon runner Charlie Lewis who convinced a surgeon to amputate his right leg following a snowboarding accident that for almost ten years had kept him in constant pain.
At the halfway stage of their epic journey through Vietnam, the group have reached Quang Tri Province, which saw the fiercest fighting in the Vietnam War. At the Linh Ung Monastery near Da Nang they help volunteers deliver meals to a local orphanage. But for Louise Halvey, who has progressive hearing loss, the pressure of socialising in a hearing group is taking its toll. Steve Brown is also struggling.
