WondLa centers around Eva, a curious, enthusiastic and spirited teenager being raised in a state-of-the-art underground bunker by Muthr, a robot caretaker. On her 16th birthday, an attack on Eva's bunker forces her onto the Earth's surface, which is now inhabited by aliens and covered with otherworldly fauna, and there are no other humans to be found. In fact, it's no longer called Earth, but Orbona. Otto, a lovable giant waterbear with whom Eva shares telepathic powers and Rovender, a cantankerous alien with a troubled past, join Eva as she leads the team on a dangerous quest to find humans, her home and her true destiny.
After being left for dead, Eight braves the Orbona desert to expose Cadmus' lies and stage a revolt.
Eva wakes to a decimated Orbona and meets with Arius, the sage. Armed with a prophecy, Eva and Rovender head to Solas with a new goal.
Loroc seizes power and declares war on the humans, prompting Eva to join forces with Queen Ojo and an ally with an eerily familiar face.
Eva reunites with Eight at last, only to learn that Eight is leading the human assault on Orbona. Torn and confused, Eva must choose a side.
Amid the fog of war, Eva and the team search for the Heart of the Forest in a crumbling New Attica.
With the fate of the planet at stake, Eva fights to deliver the Heart into the thermal vent.
