He meets Nirund who introduces him to the world of Wu. The two fall into a necessary partnership and must team up with others to suppress Yao and defeat the evil of the world. Will Nirund, Pete, and their team be able to get through this challenge, and how exactly are their souls intertwined?
It's just when routine gambler Pete starts seeing things he shouldn't that he meets Niran, a strange young man who speaks with authority regarding what's been appearing before for him. Soon, Pete finds himself assisting the man with a supernatural task, one he's somehow uniquely qualified for.
For a hefty fee, Pete agrees to help Niran capture the Yao feeding off the casino he frequents, gambling with his soul.
When the need arises to undertake the dangerous task of awakening Pete's demonic power, Niran, Pete and Fei assemble a team with the qualifications to help them pull it off.
In his effort to triumph over the demon inside Pete, Niran decides they'll have to live together while Pete trains.
After successfully gaining control of the demonic power within Pete, Niran and the gang plan a ritual to lure out Qi Rong, and Pete takes on the risky role of decoy.
When their ritual to subdue Qi Rong traps everyone in a dangerous time warp of mist and shadow, they must overcome their inner demons to survive the dimension and complete the ritual.
Pete enters into a dangerous ritual to recover Niran's soul, putting faith in the strength of their bond.
