Who hasn’t dreamt of being a rock star? In a real life rock n’ roll Cinderella story, VH1's "You Rock With" gives one lucky musician the opportunity of a lifetime – the chance to play with one of their favorite bands live, in concert, in front of thousands of fans.

Here’s how it works…

"You Rock With" is a whirlwind for 3 “unsuspecting” musicians. With the help of family and friends, each of these lucky contestants is secretly ambushed by VH1 when the musicians least expect it.

The three musicians are then brought together in a rehearsal space to prove their stuff in front of a band “insider” like the band’s tour manager or one of the band’s record producers. After the three have auditioned for the band’s judge they are whisked away to the concert venue.

In an all-access tour, the finalists get to see what’s behind the making of their favorite band’s stadium concert. This expedition can also include one-on-one time with the featured rockers and an invitation to participate in pre-show rituals.

In the heart-pounding finale, the three are taken to VIP seats to watch the show and anticipate the announcement of which ONE of them will take a spot on stage.

Then comes the moment of truth. Drum-roll please … the band stops the show to make the announcement. The musician takes stage and feels the rush of thousands of people cheering for them.

It is a moment that will last forever in the mind of one lucky musician. (Source: http://www.vh1.com/shows/dyn/you_rock_with/series.jhtml)
