As scout leader, Steinar shows no mercy, and throws the freshmen straight into the competition. Scout leader Steinar has a birthday, and demands a cake. The patrols are challenged in the scout's basic skills when they have to pioneer an IKEA stool, and their rhyming skills are put to the test when the patrols have to create their very own scout call. One of the participants is struggling to adapt to the scheme, and Steinar feels compelled to have a serious talk.
Every scout must know his history. Steinar causes dissatisfaction among some scouts, when the patrols have to perform their own version of the game about the holy St. George. There is drama as one of the scouts injures himself with a primitive weapon, and in the marking ceremony one of the participants drops a bomb.
Steinar wants soft-boiled eggs, but there are no kettles in the tenant. Patrolman King Eagle gives everything to prove the animals' existence and Fladseth proves to be the cow's best friend. The scouts are put to the test when they are tested in Steinar's self-made nature quiz.
Steinar shows the scouts that he values connection over art. The confusion becomes great when small animals suddenly disappear in Kim's play. An old scout searches blindly without success, and what do ballerina biscuits and roe really have in common? The stage is set for a nerve-wracking encounter with the brutal world of the senses.
It's time to test your building skills! One of the patrols impresses Steinar with a helmet worthy of Genghis Khan. The scouts get to test their logic and mental arithmetic when they look for nature's own units of measurement, and the competitive instinct is brought to life when it comes to building the tenant's highest flagpole.
There have been environmental pigs on the move, but Steinar knows advice and challenges the patrols to make gold out of other people's rubbish - in the form of a life jacket. The scouts will try to name entrails, and frustration arises in the meeting with Steinar's life-saving version of "hangman". Mestad is burning inside with an old Scout joke.
The scouts must learn the art of survival. A mutiny occurs on an otherwise cozy canoe trip, the scouts meet mysterious tourists in the forest, and there is drama when parts of the troop are captured and can only be saved by a fire. Steinar tries to motivate the scouts with good advice hidden in food packets.
The finals of the camp are approaching, and the scouts will broaden their horizons. Steinar gets some old friends to visit, which presents unexpected problems. Mysterious codes put the scouts out of action, and Steinar wants help with his new website. Between fights, Harald has a chat with Ahmed in the grass.
