In rural western Kentucky, three women have taken on the responsibility to care for wild animals that are injured, orphaned, or in need, with the ultimate goal of returning them back to the wild.

Nancy hopes to gain confidence in her rehabilitation skills when she accepts Linda's challenge to raise a few young raccoons from their first formula feedings all the way through to release.
Kristin and Linda are knee-deep in baby season, but each of them finds time to tend to animals requiring the utmost care and attention.
It's spring in Kentucky, which means more animals and barely a moment to spare for our wildlife rehabilitators. Linda tries to save a pregnant deer while an owl and a squirrel fight for survival after separate collisions with cars.
