Bewitched starts off with a simple married couple; but what we soon find out is that Samantha, Darrin's wife, is a witch! Although they agree that Sam is not to use witchcraft now that they are married, a problem always seems to crop up and Samantha always resorts to spells. Things become even more complicated when Endora, Samantha's witch mother, starts to interfere.
Just as Samantha wants to tell Darrin of the good news of her pregnancy, Aunt Clara turns Darrin into a chimp.
After some ill-advised comments from Darrin, Endora makes him feel every pregnancy related symptom that Samantha has.
Strange things begin happening to Darrin's friend Adam Newlarkin; Aunt Clara tells Samantha he has inherited the spell placed by a witch on his ancestor who was a judge in Salem 200 years before.
While Samantha is watching the Tate's new baby, Gladys Kravtiz makes an ill-informed comment to Maurice who whisks his "new" grandson off to London.
Uncle Arthur plays practical jokes on Darrin and Endora, causing them to join forces.
Samantha gets sick from a black Peruvian rose and loses her magical powers.
Endora turns Darrin into a werewolf when he refuses to let Samantha go to a ceremony.

Note: repeat of "A Vision of Sugar Plums" (S1E15). The cold open is identical. There is one new scene, after the opening credits, in which Sam and Darrin open and read Michael's card, and go into the flashback. Two short early sequences with the Kravitzes (and which did not feature either Samantha or Darrin) are removed—the rest of the episode is identical to the original.
Staying at Larry Tate's rundown weekend cabin, Samantha uses her magic to fix it up. Two prospective buyers see the lovely cabin and want to buy it from Larry.
The Stephens' hire a maid named Naomi who turns out to be a major klutz.
After nine months of waiting, Darrin and Samantha welcome their first child. In fact, Darrin is so happy that he even embraces Endora, who for the first time shows emotion as she and Darrin shed a few happy tears together. However, the fun really begins when Darrin meets Sam's lookalike cousin Serena. Unfortunately, Darrin thinks Endora cast a spell on his daughter to cause her to age overnight and he tries to catch Serena, who he thinks is a now adult Tabitha.
When Tabitha is given a stock as a present, it mysteriously starts to rise and Darrin thinks that Tabitha is fooling with the stock market.
Tabitha receives her first letter from Darrin's parents Phyllis and Frank, and Samantha and Darrin recall their first visit in an episode long flashback.
Notes: Repeat of "Samantha Meets the Folks" (S1E14). The first 38 seconds of this episode consists of Darrin and Samantha reading and commenting on the letter; the episode then transitions into the flashback of the earlier episode (less the original episode's first 38 seconds, which showed Samantha cleaning the house as Aunt Clara arrived). Apart from replacing that 38 seconds, the episode is identical to the earlier one.
Samantha helps Darrin defend himself with a bit of magic when he has a misunderstanding with a prize fighter.
Tabitha's grandmothers compete for attention, and end up giving Tabitha the same bear.
Endora decides to make three of Darrin's wishes come true for his birthday.
Samantha is all the rage in the fashion world when she makes dresses for the neighbors that are copies of designer originals which she saw in Paris. However, her actions cause trouble when the original designer shows up.

After Endora hears Gladys rant about how smart her nephew is, she casts a spell and has the infant Tabitha talking.
Note: Filmed January 21, 1966. This was the final episode filmed with actress Alice Pearce playing nosy neighbor Gladys Kravitz. She died of ovarian cancer 6 weeks later, on March 3, 1966.
A leprechaun named Brian gets into trouble while trying to get his pot of gold back.

Lecturer Osgood Rightmire declares that witches do not exist and unknowingly puts a curse on Samantha and even Endora.

A brat, warlock kid Samantha used to babysit, turns himself into a dog to break up Darrin and Sam's marriage.
Detective Charlie Leach kidnaps Darren's client after she is turned into a cat.
Darrin and Samantha revisit their courtship to find out if Darrin would have proposed if he had known she was a witch.
Darrin feels that he is not making any progress in his career. After Larry Tate changes his mind about giving Darrin an account, Darrin is sure Samantha's magic is behind Larry's change of heart.
Samantha provides encouragement to Gladys Kravitz's violinist brother Louis.
Note: Sixth episode of Season 2 to be filmed (June 24, 1965) but final one broadcast for the season. Of note, Samantha was still being portrayed as pregnant, and Alice Pearce was alive. An introduction was filmed to present the episode as a flashback.
