Next Episode of Big Fish Texas is
The Guindons of Galveston, Texas, face year-round challenges to keep Katie's Seafood Market thriving. Acquiring the inventory is patriarch Buddy Guindon, brother Kenny and son Hans, who battle against long days, longer nights, a sea full of predators, and Mother Nature's quirkiness. Buddy's son Nick runs the business side of the company, juggling surpluses, shortages, and order deadlines while also processing a quarter of the Gulf's deep-water fish and spearheading initiatives to preserve their fishery. Through it all, the family built on traditional values always makes time for hearty laughs and home-cooked meals.
When Nick learns that he's 10,000 pounds short on a snapper order, he turns to Hans and Kenny for help. Kenny has been Katie's Seafood's go-to guy for years, but his cocky nephew Hans claims to be the best fisherman in the family. The two decide to split the order, and settle the score by competing to catch 5K pounds of snapper first. Meanwhile, Buddy is involved in his own battle: recreational fishermen in the Gulf of Mexico are illegally catching snapper out of their season, and Buddy takes it upon himself to find out who's behind this and prevent them from damaging the fishery. Adding to the challenges at Katie's Seafood, Ricky struggles to fix problems with the online shipping boxes after a customer complains of spoiled fish.
With a huge order to fulfil, Hans struggles to find a spot where the snapper are biting; Kenny busies himself with boat repairs.
Katie's Seafood gets an unexpected offload of snapper; Buddy prevents Kenny and his crew from going fishing.
Hating the market, Chris goes to work on the water with Kenny. The extra help comes just in time after two of Kenny's deckhands become unable to work.
