Capital One College Bowl challenges college students out of the classroom and puts their knowledge to the test as they compete for academic scholarships. In each episode, teams of three representing some of the nation's top schools will battle it out in a bracketed tournament over four rounds. Teams must work together to answer questions on a wide variety of subjects. The top two schools advance to the final where they compete head-to-head for the Capital One College Bowl trophy and a scholarship to put toward their education.
Some of the nation's greatest collegiate rivalries compete in the ultimate battle of the brains and put their knowledge to the test to vie for academic scholarships. The qualifying rounds begin with Auburn taking on Alabama and Michigan battling Minnesota.
The qualifying rounds continue with Mississippi challenging Tennessee and Morehouse College taking on Columbia University.
The qualifying rounds conclude with USC taking on UCLA and University of Virginia battling Xavier University
The quarterfinal rounds begin with the University of Mississippi versus Auburn University. The quarterfinals introduce the new dropout round, which leads to a team playing the Two Minute Drill with one player down. The winning school moves on to challenge a new opponent in the semifinals.
The quarterfinal rounds continue with University of Tennessee versus Columbia University. The quarterfinals introduce the new dropout round, which leads to a team playing the Two Minute Drill with one player down. The winning school moves on to challenge a new opponent in the semifinals.
