Cat for Cash is a heartwarming story about cat lovers and a gang of cats unfolds when Tiger, a kind-hearted young creditor who adores cats, unexpectedly gains the special ability "to talk and hear cats" from Je Meow, a cat café owner, shortly before her death. The cats in the café then ask Tiger to help prevent Lynx, Je Meow's son, from selling the café. Matters become more complicated when Leo, Lynx's half-brother from the father's side, and Dr. Pomme, a charming veterinarian, enter the picture. Together, they become entangled in the effort to keep the cat café running while confronting unresolved family conflicts. How can the language of cats spark love among them?
After completing the cat-finding mission, Lynx and Tiger return to the café only to discover it has been vandalized. The trouble stems from people Leo had offended in the past. As tensions rise, the two brothers end up in a fierce argument over the long-hidden secret about their father.
Lynx and Tiger's secret relationship is accidentally exposed by Leo, who surprisingly gives them his full support. To help revive the café's business, the three of them start producing short videos for promotion. Unexpectedly, the hashtag #TigerLynx goes viral online.
With #TigerLynx going viral, the café sees a surge in popularity. As attention grows, so does the pressure on Tiger and Lynx. At the same time, they must face a new challenge; meeting Tiger's parents.
The truth behind the cat café's inheritance is finally revealed. Can Lynx truly make peace with his mother? Meanwhile, his relationship with Tiger enters a new stage.
