Choujuu Sentai Liveman

Academia Island is an elite school dedicated to new theories in science and knowledge, with significant research put toward space flight and exploring the cosmos. On the eve of some of the most important breakthroughs, however, three students secretly made contact with an evil man named Great Professor Bias, and he convinced them to turn their back on their fellow students. They end their careers at the school by shooting two of their classmates in cold blood before taking off in a spaceship for reaches unknown.

Two years later, the group returns to Earth under the collective name Brain Army Volt, with new powers and a goal of conquering all of humanity. Standing against them are three more students of Academia Island, close friends of the two who were murdered before. These three students use technology they designed themselves over the interim years to transform into the superhero team Choujuu Sentai Liveman. With the help of a robot assistant and future allies, they fight Brain Army Volt for the fate of humanity.
