Best friends Ben and Janni are so-called late bloomers and are constantly overlooked by women. Therefore, they decide they urgently need to become more "manly" – immediately. They contact school dealer Corny, who is supposed to procure them an illegal testosterone supplement from the dark web, which will become their holy grail on the path to "manhood." And indeed, overnight, they develop muscles, become more self-confident, and even manage to outdo the class bully Rick, who also has his eye on the class crush Suki.
To appear more masculine in front of their class crush, Suki, the outsiders Ben and Janni get an illegal testosterone supplement. But the green pills have a different effect than expected.
Before his big performance at school, Ben desperately tries to become more confident. When he starts taking the green pills again, it's not just his self-confidence that grows.
On the school trip, Ben struggles with withdrawal symptoms from the pills. When Janni ignores him to make Suki look like a hero, Ben discovers his inner predator.
Ben wants to return the necklace he stole from Janni to Suki. Unfortunately, the side effects of the pills are no longer noticeable and are awakening some nasty instincts in him.
Shortly before the election for senior class president, Ben is caught up in his own lies. When everything seems to be conspiring against him, he decides to say goodbye to the old Ben.
After his jerk transformation, Ben and Trine try to stop the unleashed Janni from turning the prom into a Jurassic Park. It's not just Suki's life that's at stake.
