Crime Scene Kitchen, an all-new baking competition series is a culinary guessing game in which bakers are tasked with decoding what type of dessert was made, when all that's left are the crumbs, flour trails and a few elusive clues. They must then recreate the recipe for celebrity judges, chef Curtis Stone and cake artist Yolanda Gampp, who will determine how closely their sweet treat matches the missing dessert – and how good it tastes!
With only four teams of classically-trained and self-taught bakers left, the semifinalists take on the safety bake round, inspired by guest judge Dwight Howard's favorite dessert. Then, in the final elimination bake of the season, the pressure heats up as the culinary clue finders face-off to secure a coveted spot in the grand finale and inch closer to the $100,000 prize.
The finalists have five hours to master the final mystery dessert of the season; the team that performs the best across both rounds will be crowned "Crime Scene Kitchen" champions and take home $100,000.
Six pairs of family members put their culinary forensic skills to the test, sifting through the Crime Scene Kitchen to uncover two rounds of classified confections. With each team vying for the coveted $100,000 grand prize, they must piece together clues from the kitchen to recreate the desserts that were baked there.
Six pairs of friends from around the world put on their sleuthing hats to uncover mystery desserts based on clues left at the scene of a crime-ridden kitchen. Each team must piece together the clues, then try to recreate the desserts that they believe were baked there, all in the hopes of getting one step closer to the $100,000 prize.
Five teams of family members have two mystery dishes to crack on their road to the $100,000 prize. In a dramatic elimination bake they are tested by the hardest Crime Scene Kitchen of all-time.
