Die Niels Ruf Show is a German Late-Night-Show, hosted by Niels Ruf, which airs once a week on the Network Sat.1. The show was the first production of the Pay-TV Network Sat.1 Comedy, before Sat.1 took the show over. Die Niels Ruf Show is a mix from Stand-Up, various Clips and Guests. The show based on the model of the US-Show Late Night with Conan O'Brien.

Niels Ruf is known for his saucy comments and overweening character, which made him famous. People love or hate him and you can see that in his show. When the US band The Bloodhound Gang were guests in one of his shows, they destroyed his waiting room, after he told them that there isn't any more time and that they aren't in the show. This scene is legendary and made Niels Ruf as a person even more popular.

After two years on the Pay-TV channel Sat.1 Comedy, the show was taking over by Sat.1, which airs the new episodes every Friday night. Sat.1 Comedy airs old episodes of the show and the new episodes just hours after the premiere on Sat.1.
