Next Episode of District 31 is
not planed. TV Show was canceled.
After having grouped its investigators in its headquarters for many years, the Montreal police force decided to bring them closer to the population by reassigning them to neighborhood stations.
Over the weeks, investigators will have to face the whole panoply of puzzles and crimes that can arise in a large city: kidnappings, burglaries, murders, family violence, sex crimes, settling of scores, drug trafficking, terrorist sympathies , economic crimes and others.
We will also follow with great interest the fluctuations in their family or love life, which is bound to be felt as a result of their demanding profession.
Nadine Legrand and Patrick Bissonnette begin their first day in the District 31 neighborhood station, under a policy aimed at bringing investigators closer to the population. It is also a special day for Nadine as it marks the 20th anniversary of the death of her father, a police officer killed on duty. Commander Daniel Chiasson welcomes his new team, while detective sergeant Laurent Cloutier transmits his instructions to the investigators he leads. Patrick and Nadine must try to find an eight-year-old boy, Théo, who disappeared with his skateboard. They meet the parents, Florence and Alexandre. Kevin Nadeau, Nadine's partner, surprises her by announcing that everything is over between them.
Nadine and Patrick meet a dealer to find out information about the vehicle in which young Théo was put in according to a witness. As it is a rather rare model, they ask Da-Xia to research the owners. Nadine and Patrick exchange confidences while having dinner. Patrick talks about the last three years spent supporting his wife who eventually died of cancer. In order to make things happen, Laurent Cloutier gives a press conference with the parents. An old gentleman comes to the station to denounce an attendant who is engaged in prostitution in his residence. Isabelle takes her statement.
While Isabelle takes care of Florence who is in all her states, Patrick and Nadine question Carl Juneau, owner of the suspicious car. He claims that he was playing golf at the alleged time when young Théo was brought up. Fraya, a French clairvoyant, claims to have a revelation to communicate about the missing child. Nadine visits Florence and asks her some questions about their family life. Laurent Cloutier finds that Nadine has a rebellious air and points this out to Commander Chiasson. Yves Tourangeau , a golf partner of Carl Juneau, is questioned in order to confirm his alibi.
Patrick surprises Alexandre Gagnon at Carl Juneau's house and tries to reason with him. He and his partner are invited to the station so that they can see all the efforts being made to find their son. Cloutier finds that this investigation is starting to cost too much and that Nadine lacks the experience to lead it. He spoke to Commander Chiasson about it, suggesting that he transfer the file to an investigator from a neighboring district. Alexandre and Florence submit to the polygraph in order to rule out any suspicion concerning them.
Laurent tells Stéphane to be wary of Nadine. In a meeting, he offers him help with the investigation, but Patrick is not fooled. Isabelle and Laurent confront Mégane, the residence attendant, with evidence of her activities. They update Mr. Beauvais on the development of this file. Ms. Dulude calls to say that a suspicious person on a bicycle has been standing near the park for almost an hour. The investigators will come across a big fish but is it the right one? Nadine criticizes Stéphane for his lack of rigor. She insists on speaking again to young Raphaël who had seen Théo in the company of an adult at the park.
Patrick and Isabelle show up at Carl Juneau's house with a search warrant. They are welcomed by his partner, Geneviève Décarie. Commander Chiasson advises Nadine to take a step back from her investigations if she wants to see things clearly. Nadine argues again with Stéphane about his messy report. Geneviève informs Carl of the police visit. She's starting to lose patience with him. Nadine asks Laurent point blank if he has a problem with her. Stéphane surprises a young girl buying drugs from a dealer linked to street gangs. She tries to persuade him by telling him that she is the blonde of Félix Cloutier, Laurent's son.
While we receive the expert report on the Juneau van, Laurent increases the pressure on the team. The results are still awaited. Patrick finds that Nadine is naive in front of Laurent. Geneviève Décarie comes to see Nadine to talk to her about her partner's gambling problems. Julie tells Félix that she was caught buying drugs and asks him to take a break. Convinced that his father is behind all this, he goes to the station to tell him his way of thinking. Encouraged by his father to make himself forgotten, Carl Juneau and his lawyer Pierre Sigouin request an injunction so that he is left in peace. Laurent comes back to Chiasson so that the investigation can be entrusted to Bruno Gagné from the neighboring station.
Laurent announces to Nadine and Patrick that he is entrusting the investigation into Théo's disappearance to Bruno Gagné from station 29. Patrick does not take it. Daniel Chiasson explains to Nadine why he accepted Laurent's decision. He also tells him of another proposal. Julie Meloche comes to see Stéphane at the station. She is very nervous because her dealer, convinced that she works for the police, threatened her. Suzanne, Félix's mother, like Laurent, strives to make him understand that his relationship with Julie could derail his promising hockey career. Anne surprises Patrick for his birthday. However, he must urgently go to a schoolyard where a murder has been committed.
Nadine and Patrick question Léopold Jean, the dealer who threatened Julie on the phone. He repeats to them that she was not arrested because she was going out with Laurent Cloutier's son. The latter is unhappy when his investigators tell him to mind his own business. He complains about it to Chiasson who tells him that it is on his orders that they are doing this. Stéphane also tells him that it is in his interest to be discreet in the circumstances. Da-Xia takes stock of the inventory of messages on Julie's cell phone. These reveal in particular that she was cheating on Félix with one of her teammates.
Chiasson asks Stéphane and Laurent to explain in detail the circumstances which led to Julie not being arrested after being caught in the act of buying ecstasy. Nadine questions David Dulac, Félix's teammate who hides nothing from her about the relationship he had with Julie. Stéphane uses his extensive experience in organized crime to conduct closer interrogations of the dancers and Viateur Toussaint who serve as an alibi for Léopold Jean. He doesn't spare the latter either. Laurent tries to coax Nadine by telling her that he acts like a father in this matter.
Nadine meets Marilyne, Julie's best friend, and begins to get a good idea of how the fateful day unfolded. In another file, Stéphane tells him that Carl Juneau's debts have no connection with compulsive gambling. The latest events undermine the morale of Félix's team who tells his coach that he would like to be traded to a club in the Maritimes. It is Nadine who has the painful mission of meeting Mme Meloche, Julie's mother. Stéphane is surprised to see a signature under the declaration that Julie had made to him in the afternoon, since she did not sign it in front of him.
Laurent is worried when he sees Da-Xia locking herself in with Patrick and Julie. She tells them that the murder weapon was found near a garage as well as other disturbing facts that emerged during the analysis. Commander Chiasson receives Alexandre Gagnon and Florence Viens to talk to them about the investigation into Théo and explain to them why Nadine is less involved in it. Patrick and Nadine share what they learned in Chiasson. They ask him for permission to question Laurent, because several clues make him a person of interest in their investigation.
While the investigators' suspicions begin to turn towards Félix, Laurent's son, we realize that the murder weapon has disappeared from the evidence room. The room manager, Robert Frugence reviews the surveillance video to see if anyone can be identified. Nadine sees Ms. Meloche again to tell her where we are with the investigation. Laurent confronts his son, but remains ready to do anything to help him. He meets his agent, Pat Turgeon, to convince him that Félix needs a change of scenery and that he must be traded as quickly as possible. Stéphane goes to find Welsh, a loan shark he knows well, in the hope that he will reveal the source of Marc Juneau's debts.
Nadine wonders if it wasn't Chiasson who took the knife to help Laurent, a long-time friend. To his surprise, the commander was not offended and agreed to take the polygraph like everyone else. He demands that Laurent do the same, otherwise he will be suspended. Laurent explains in detail to Félix his plan to get him out of trouble. Da-Xia communicates to Nadine other details relating to Laurent's credit card. Nadine is pleasantly surprised when Stéphane tells her some very useful secrets about Laurent, while asking her to take care of the latter.
Tension rises between Laurent and his son. Chiasson tells Nadine how he would ideally like to conclude this affair. However, this type of compromise hardly fits with the rigorous principles of the young investigator. Laurent presents himself at the station with Félix and his lawyer, Me Morais. They are ready to tell everything, but under certain conditions, but Nadine is not willing to give them any gifts before taking Félix's statement. Chiasson then calls her into his office to congratulate her. And as Laurent has decided to retire under the circumstances, he offers him his position as detective lieutenant. How will the team react upon learning of this appointment?
Chiasson asks Nadine if she has a relationship with Patrick. She takes the opportunity to follow up with him about Bruno Gagné, whom she would like to recruit as an investigator. Patrick and Nadine are called to investigate the circumstances of the death of little Lily, eight months old, who fell ill during the night. Dr. Lauzon, who received her at the hospital, believes it could be a case of a shaken baby. They meet in turn the father, Benoît Paquette who was in Toronto when it happened, his sister-in-law Mélanie who was at home with the little and young Camille who looked after the baby during the fateful evening. Nadine meets the other Anne in Patrick's life, a fatal beauty.
Pascale Poulin, the best friend of Benoit's wife, tells Patrick that it was after learning that he was having an affair with her sister that she was broke. by a car. Mr. Beauvais returns to see Isabelle. He claims that they want to poison him at the residence. Florence Viens congratulates Nadine on her appointment by asking her if there is anything new in the investigation into Théo. Patrick announces to Benoît and Mélanie that we are going to seal the room, because the child's death is suspicious. Camille is questioned in the presence of her mother. She is very nervous when she is asked questions about emails that she exchanged with her boyfriend Mathis, about which her mother knows nothing.
Patrick invited Nadine to dinner with his mother at the restaurant. The atmosphere is very tense between Camille and her mother. Camille is impatient to formally testify and determined not to hide anything from investigators. Nadine meets Benoit in his office, while Patrick leads the interrogation of Mélanie. Chiasson recommends that everyone involved in the case be given a polygraph.
Patrick and Nadine comment on the pathologist's report, while Mathis, Camille and Mélanie take turns to go through the lie detector . The polygraph examiner concludes that none of them are lying at first glance, but Da-Xia provides valuable additional information collected on their use of the Internet. Isabelle learns that Mr. Beauvais's wife is in the hospital after consuming rat poison. Patrick and Nadine take stock with Sonia to establish a strategy that would make it possible to lay charges relating to the death of little Lily. In the evening, Nadine receives Bruno Gagné who sets his conditions for coming to work on Théo's investigation.
Attending his first team meeting, Bruno Gagné is not very talkative. Single mother, Marie-Andrée Sanscartier meets Isabelle because she fears that her 16-year-old daughter, Audrey, is engaging in prostitution. Bruno talks about his philosophy of the profession to Nadine while telling her that, according to him, young Théo was murdered. Isabelle and Stéphane investigate the hotel incognito, while Da-Xia produces revealing details taken from Audrey's cell phone. Everything indicates that we are dealing with a very structured network. Nadine consults Chiasson who gives her carte blanche to plan what happens next.
Bruno wants to question Carl Juneau's golf partner, Yves Tourangeau, again, along with Patrick. Chiasson takes stock of the prostitution issue with Nadine, Isabelle and Stéphane. He is worried about public relations because it involves minors. In order to catch young people in the company of their clients, we plan a trip to the hotel. She has surprises in store for them.
While Stéphane does his best to impress the client, Isabelle tries to get Audrey to talk. Nadine and her mother (Geneviève Alarie) join her. Audrey lets herself be convinced to write down the list of her clients and those her friends have told her about. Dynamite in the eyes of Chiasson, but it still needs to be corroborated. Bruno brings up the death of his children to try to calm Florence Viens who complains about the slowness of the investigation into Théo.
Bruno tells Patrick how he lost his wife and two children in a fire. They set out in search of a certain Fanny Cadieux who could represent the key to the enigma posed by Carl Juneau. Isabelle and Stéphane return to the hotel with the intention of catching those responsible for the prostitution network, while Chiasson remains sensitive to the echoes that this affair could generate in public opinion. public.
Isabelle, questions Mylène, Audrey's friend who is also involved in the network. Patrick and Bruno go to Quebec to see Fanny Cadieux who has little desire to talk to them about Carl Juneau. Journalist Jean Brière approaches Stéphane to ask him if it is true that the team is working on a case involving underage prostitutes. Chiasson and Sonia discuss the legal perspectives in the prostitution case. Nadine thanks Stéphane for his contribution to this investigation.
The investigation becomes complicated. Sonia and Chiasson try to determine which clients will be charged in this case. Nadine is irritated to see the journalist Jean Brière, who already knows a lot, at the station where he is discussing with Stéphane. She asks him to leave the place. Stéphane explains to Nadine why we must do what is necessary, as far as possible, to remain in the good graces of this star of the legal news. Audrey returns to the station to see Nadine.
Audrey tells Mylène that the police want to give her a polygraph in relation to her testimony about their client Christian Faille. It is duly stopped. Bruno offers Patrick to accompany him to Quebec. He wants to see Fanny Cadieux again. Nadine, who slept at the station, is woken up by Isabelle who arrives at 4:30 a.m., while they are preparing to arrest clients of the prostitution network.
Director Jalbert of the Greater Montreal Police Service (SPGM) gives a press conference regarding the arrests. He calls Nadine to congratulate her. Audrey and Mylène discuss the latest developments. Nadine's strategy bears fruit and the noose tightens around Christian Faille. She discusses it with Stéphane.
The body of young Théo Gagnon was found in the prairie quarry. It is Nadine who has the sad mandate to announce it to her mother.Jean Brière quickly talked about it on TV. Stéphane insists that Patrick accompany him on a mission to a hotel without telling him more. Nadine asks him what this mission consisted of which does not appear in the register.
Nadine and Patrick discuss the case of Stéphane who has embarrassed himself. Chiasson tells them that Jean Brière is accused of contempt of court for having revealed information relating to Carl Juneau. Bruno shows the team photos of the latter with Jean-François Martel. Stéphane sees his girlfriend again for a final explanation. Isabelle and Da-Xia search Martel's activities on the web. Patrick and Stéphane must answer questions from investigator Yves Jacob from the internal management of the SPGM.
Stéphane is confined to administrative tasks while awaiting the conclusion of the internal investigation. Laurent wants to communicate information to Chiasson and Nadine. He also told them that many retired police officers would be ready to carry out missions for them under cover of anonymity. Isabelle teaches Bruno and Patrick that Martel is not only a drug trafficker, but a big consumer of pornography on the Web. Jean Brière persists and signs. He will stay in prison rather than reveal his sources.
Stéphane, Isabelle and Bruno reassess the situation in light of Martel's arrest by the drug squad. Stéphane goes to meet Welsh to clarify things. He is incredulous when Stéphane reveals to him the extent of Juneau's debts to Martel. Isabelle is patient with Mr. Beauvais who wants to tell her about other disturbing events that take place in his residence. Bruno would like to work all weekend on the investigation, but he receives little encouragement. Nadine invites Patrick to dinner on Saturday evening on the condition that they don't talk about work, but one surprise doesn't wait for the other.
Nadine tries to navigate between Kevin, Patrick and the investigation which is progressing rapidly. Florence tells him that she is going to separate from her husband. Madame Chicoine in turn comes to see Isabelle to tell her that Mr. Beauvais denounced his new boyfriend out of jealousy. Jean Brière, who has been released, comes to the station where he is welcomed as a hero, but he will not obtain any inside information. Isabelle leads a brainstorm with her colleagues based on the information discovered in Martel's secret hard drive. Bruno is particularly interested in the mention of an unresolved case that dates back more than ten years.
Stéphane is unhappy when he realizes that Welsh lied to him about Martel. Isabelle sees Mr. Beauvais again and asks Da-Xia to check information on Mr. Barbier, the new resident of the residence. Da-Xia takes the opportunity to resolve a misunderstanding between them. Bruno and Patrick see Laurent again to associate him with a "Mr Big" type operation that they want to initiate against Carl Juneau. Laurent recommends that they put Nadine in the scent. Sensing that an uneasiness has arisen between them, Nadine tries to explain herself to Patrick.
Isabelle keeps Ms. Chicoine informed of developments in the residence file. Patrick suggests to Nadine to have the Mr Big operation approved by Chiasson. He criticizes the team for dragging its feet in the investigation into Martel. He points out to Nadine, who is a little upset by his intervention, that she does not seem to be feeling well since the beginning of the week. However, he gave his approval to the "Mr Big" operation against Juneau. Nadine wants to check the legal parameters with Sonia. She no longer knows which way to dance with Kevin, who has the gift of showing up unexpectedly at any moment.
Nadine has another explanation with Kevin. She asks Chiasson to help her reason with Patrick who is demanding a transfer to another district. A nurse, Hélène Dicaire comes to his office to tell him that a patient confessed to a murder before dying, asking him to speak to Laurent Cloutier. Stéphane gives Jeffrey, the double agent mandated for operation Mr. Big, all the information relating to Martel.
Sophie Marchand has just lost her father to a heart attack, but she has serious doubts, knowing that her stepmother, Louise Houde, was cheating on him with her doctor. Patrick takes his statement. Jeffrey reports his preparations to Laurent and Stéphane. Laurent meets Chiasson and Nadine about Tyler Foley.
Patrick summoned Louise Houde to the station to question her again. He also asks Dr. Lachance to provide him with Raymond Marchand's medical file. He meets Sophie at the restaurant and exchanges confidences with her while respecting professional secrecy. While she is waiting for Patrick for brunch, Nadine receives a video call from Kevin on her computer. Jeffrey continues to leave messages at Carl Juneau's house, in order to put pressure on him. Monday morning, Patrick presents the results of his weekend work to Nadine and Sonia, but the latter considers that we should not jump to conclusions.
Nadine's personal and professional grievances become one when she criticizes Patrick for a lack of rigor in Raymond Marchand's case. She asks him to go and ask his doctor in Florida. Nadine will meet Michel David, an inmate who continues to proclaim his innocence in the murder of a young woman which dates back more than 10 years. Jeffrey meets Carl Juneau and reminds him of the debts he had contracted with Jean-François Martel.
Patrick criticizes Bruno for following him, but the latter tells him that he is risking a lot by dating Sophie Marchand. Nadine asks Sonia if she can access classified information about the trial of Michel David. Sophie shows up at the station hoping to see Patrick, but she is instead received by Nadine.
Jeffrey has a surprise in store for Carl Juneau. Bruno shows Patrick what he discovered about Sophie Marchand. Sonia tells Nadine that her colleagues are uncomfortable when we talk about the trial of Michel David. Patrick confronts Dr. Lachance about the information he collected in Florida. He impresses Chiasson with a plan to move the Juneau investigation forward.
Sonia provides Patrick with a reason to arrest Dr. Lachance. Jeffrey reiterates his monetary demands to Carl Juneau in the presence of his father. Nadine asks Chiasson to summon Laurent. Chiasson takes stock of the Juneau file with Bruno, Patrick and Jeffrey.
Florence comes to the station to give her news and to be informed of the progress of the investigation into her son. She touches Nadine with a well-felt compliment. Saturday morning, while having lunch in a café, Nadine meets by chance Geneviève Décarie, Carl Juneau's ex, who confides in her. A surprise awaits the police officers who followed Dr. Lachance and Louise Houde.
Nadine questions Sylvain Cormier. She uses a ploy to get Sophie to come to the station willingly. Chiasson introduces Nadine to one of the highest ranking members of the SPGM, Martin Banville. He also summons Isabelle, to whom they want to entrust a delicate mission. Tension grows between Nadine and Patrick over Sophie Marchand.
Chiasson takes stock with Nadine about the relationship between Patrick and Sophie Marchand. Sonia arrives with extremely important information about Sylvain Cormier. She also informs Nadine that exhibits and evidence against Michel David have disappeared from the archives.
Bruno questions Sophie, who was implicated by Sylvain. Isabelle reports to Martin Banville. Nadine and Patrick speak openly about the special nature of their relationship. Finding her responsibilities very heavy, Nadine asks Chiasson to return to her old position.
Sonia reveals to Nadine other disturbing details surrounding the murder of Christine Fontaine for which Michel David was convicted. Nadine informs Chiasson of her intention to start this investigation from scratch. Isabelle makes Nadine understand that she wants to meet her outside the station to transmit certain information to her incognito. She is troubled by all the wiretap stuff she hears about the Director of Internal Affairs.
The news joins Nadine, very worried about Kevin who is on a mission in Syria. Patrick transmits to Bruno the documents relating to the murder of Christine Marchand. In light of what he observes, Bruno in turn goes to meet Michel David. Nadine fears being spied on and takes the necessary measures in the circumstances. She asks Chiasson for an informal meeting outside the station.
Martin Banville takes stock with Isabelle of his wiretapping mandate. Bruno goes to find a former colleague, Yves Leduc, who was responsible for monitoring Christine Fontaine at the time. Nadine tries to gain the trust of André Juneau, Carl's father. She warns Chiasson against his old friend Laurent.
Chiasson begins to realize the threat that Laurent could represent. He surprises the investigators by asking them to give him in writing all the details of their relations with him since his resignation. Gisèle-Marie Juneau, Carl's mother, asks Nadine to come meet her. Would there be an opening on this side?
Still shaken by what she hears during Vincent Dupuis' wiretapping, Isabelle is on the verge of professional burnout. She asks Chiasson to organize another meeting with Banville as soon as possible. François Milot, a retired police officer, who was also responsible for monitoring Christine Fontaine, confides certain things to Nadine and Patrick. Gisèle-Marie Juneau says she is ready to take the polygraph test, provided that it is done at home.
Isabelle is relieved to be able to resume her normal tasks with her colleagues. However, she is called upon to investigate with Nadine the distressing case of a teenager whose compromising video was circulated on the web. Thinking of her daughter of the same age, she takes this matter very seriously. François Milot's wife asks to see Nadine and Patrick at the station.
Nadine, Patrick and Bruno share with Chiasson their latest discoveries related to the Christine Fontaine murder case. Like his wife, André Juneau says he is ready to take a polygraph. Sonia tries to calm the ardor of Isabelle, who would like to increase the number of prosecutions in the case of the intimate video which circulated on the web.
Yves Leduc is summoned for interrogation at the District 31 station. He discusses it with Laurent. Benjamin Galipeau, the father of Léa, one of the teenagers involved in the exchange of the video on the web, comes to see Isabelle to plead his daughter's cause. Patrick goes to see Nadine who did not show up for work this morning.
Chiasson updates the team on the steps that will follow. Accompanied by Nadine, he meets Banville and Director General Jalbert to update them on the outcome of their investigation. Sonia informs Isabelle of the legal follow-up of the young people who exchanged the compromising video of their friend on the web.
Nadine and Patrick examine the vehicle of notorious trafficker Manuel Pageau which bears all the marks of an attack. However, the victim's body has disappeared. Nadine visits his wife with Stéphane. The latter asks his contact Welsh if he is aware of the affair. The game gets tougher with Laurent. Patrick summarizes to Chiasson everything that Leduc told him.
Chiasson asks Banville how we should proceed with Laurent. Nadine and Stéphane see Évelyne Gladu again, Manuel Pageau's wife. She provides them with her cell number and accounts. Stéphane asks Da-Xia to get everything we can out of it. Chiasson urges Bruno to redouble his efforts in the stalled investigation into the murder of young Théo. Laurent informs his wife Suzanne of his problems.
Bruno believes he has a promising strategy against Carl Juneau. A few steamed hot dogs from Chez Clara will help him get heard by his colleagues. Daniel asks Nadine to entrust Patrick with the mandate to comb through the files in which Laurent was involved. Da-Xia has some interesting information for Stéphane regarding Manuel Pageau.
Each other's heart stories fuel conversations at the station. Isabelle takes care of Fanny Cadieux, who was brought back from Quebec. Stéphane confronts Évelyne Gladu with what we discovered about her husband. Michel David comes to see Nadine at the station to thank her. The tension of the last few weeks is starting to weigh heavily on Laurent's morale.
Nadine is distraught after receiving a call from the Secret Service. Isabelle helps him put things into perspective. Laurent barricaded himself in his home with his arsenal. Daniel tries to make him listen to reason in the name of their old friendship. Jean Brière shows up nearby, but Bruno, who has seen others, dodges his questions. The team's day ends with good news.
Nadine explains with Patrick, then with Isabelle. Chiasson summons the entire team, as well as Sonia, to develop the strategy with regard to Carl Juneau. The particular skills of each person will have to be brought to bear. Patrick has dinner with Sophie Marchand, who tells him how she is progressing in her life. Nadine calls André Juneau to inform him of the rest of the events.
Patrick is responsible for completing the interrogation of Carl Juneau. Will he be able to make him talk for the trouble? Nadine and Daniel meet with Martin Banville to determine what will be revealed to the press. Me Sigouin, the Juneau lawyer, ensures that his client's rights are scrupulously respected. Stéphane asks Da-Xia to sift through the calls from boss Jean-François Martel, which could reveal the existence of a new suspect.
Nadine tells Daniel some good news. Martine, the crime scene technician, takes inventory of the clues found on the evidence relating to Théo's murder. Michel David informs Nadine of his intention to continue the SPGM. Daniel asks Patrick to negotiate with Jean Brière to gain time before revealing the latest developments in the case to the press.
Patrick questions Alexandre, who is in the grip of a deep depression. Bruno calls Florence, who seems to be the only person close to him. Chiasson asks Bruno and Patrick to explain the slip-up concerning the transfer of the third suspect. Sonia tells Stéphane that she is in love with him and that she would like to start a real relationship. The investigators are surprised to find themselves at the station on a Saturday. Patrick and Stéphane are equipped to accomplish important work.
Sophie has invited Patrick and his mother to dinner, but Patrick is disturbed to take care of a fight in the parking lot of a shopping center. The investigators meet at the hospital. Patrick and Bruno are interested in the man who was seriously injured in the parking lot and question his wife. Isabelle is on the case of a black teenager, Charlotte Maître, who was intoxicated to the point of putting her life in danger. She believes she may have been a victim of date rape drugs. Nadine is on vacation. Chiasson replaces her and takes the opportunity to ask the investigators to catch up with their reports.
Antoine Maître, Charlotte's father who made his fortune in medical equipment, gives his instructions to investigator Claude Lefebvre, who works for his company. By viewing the surveillance video, Sonia is convinced that she can bring serious charges against the attacker who acted in the parking lot, Dave Martin. Stéphane brought in another deputy prosecutor, Kim Lalande, who is turning a lot of heads. He wants a warrant to obtain the records of the motel where Charlotte Maître was found.
Daniel brings Isabelle into his office when he receives Claude Lefebvre, with whom he worked in a previous life. She watches the chess game played by these two old foxes. Sonia asks Bruno to explain how evidence was collected against the third suspect in Théo's case. Michel David meets Mr. Sigouin to ask him to lead his prosecution against the SPGM. Isabelle is both shocked and impressed by Stéphane's behavior with women.
Claude Lefebvre tells what he discovered to his boss, Antoine Maître. Isabelle is determined to question him. Nadine is back from vacation. Chiasson goes through the files with her. Isabelle and Stéphane question Zacharie, one of the young people who was present during the kidnapping of Charlotte Maître. Nadine invites Patrick to dinner to tell him about his trip. Chiasson reminds Nadine that management will want to find fault with her for her investigation into Laurent Cloutier and Michel David.
Daniel tells Nadine that he will be a grandfather for the third time. He takes the opportunity to remind him that the investigators' reports are still awaited. Charlotte and her father were summoned in order to close the file on her kidnapping. However, new facts encourage investigators to see Zacharie again. We are redoubling our efforts to get him to tell us what really happened. Sensing that Michel David and Laurent Cloutier's case is getting tougher, Nadine discusses it confidentially with Sonia.
Nadine, who secretly meets the lawyer Pierre Sigouin at the restaurant, is surprised to find Patrick there in the company of Sophie Marchand. Having read information provided by Laurent, journalist Jean Brière asks Nadine to meet him. She comes to the meeting with Chiasson, who wants to help her manage this crisis. He also encourages her to finish as soon as possible her detailed report on the Michel David affair and in particular on the meetings she had with him.
Laurent meets Jean Brière in prison. Knowing that he is being recorded, he takes the opportunity to send messages. Sonia reiterates to Nadine that even if he can embarrass the SPGM, Laurent will not get what he wants from the prosecutors. Patrick summoned Claude Lefebvre for questioning. He looks down on him. Will a search of his offices shed light on his relationship with tough guy Glenn Douglas?
Patrick questions Antoine Maître before the file of the case in which he is involved is transmitted to the Sûreté du Québec. Marc Renaud, principal of a high school struggling with a serious drug problem, meets Nadine to ask her to intervene. She discusses it with Stéphane. Bruno works overtime to sift through all the documents concerning Welsh and Martel that could allow him to solve a crime that has obsessed him for years.
Patrick explains to his team why Bruno was in such a state. Jean Brière goes to the police station to meet Daniel, but he has a bad time, because the latter is waiting for Martin Banville and director Jalbert, who want to discuss the pursuit of Michel David. Nadine will have to clarify her role in this affair. Shortly after, it was the director of criminal and penal prosecutions, Louis Bouliane, who came to meet the team to take stock of the strength of the evidence we have against Welsh.
Daniel tells Nadine that Sonia and Bouliane are hopeful of getting along with Laurent. Nadine informs the director of the plan developed by the team to catch Welsh, who will be released and which we will have to follow closely. Patrick asks Nadine if Kevin, who is languishing at home, could give the team a helping hand in this matter. Daniel asks Nadine to join him in his office. She freezes when she sees that Banville and Director Jalbert are with him…
Jean Brière has lunch at the restaurant in the company of Stéphane and Patrick, who have the mandate to reveal certain information to him, while ensuring that he does not cause harm following the investigation into Welsh. They then meet Kevin, who impresses them by explaining to them how one could go about cracking the criminal. The investigation into drugs at the school is making rapid progress, but the danger is growing due to the involvement of organized crime. Double agent Mélissa Quesnel wants to see this investigation through to the end.
Me Durant informs Welsh of his upcoming release. Nadine takes stock with the team on the upcoming surveillance. Patrick obtained the warrant authorizing the wiretap on Welsh. We will ask Kevin to take care of it. The boss Marco, who finds Mélissa to his liking, becomes more insistent. Will she be able to maintain her cover without compromising herself?
Chiasson comments on the morning newspaper which makes the front page with Welsh's release. Stéphane informs him of the extent of the drug investigation which also involves the Police. Welsh reaffirms to his lawyer that he has nothing to do with the death of young Théo and that he will be able to prove it without difficulty. Kevin is uncomfortable with his wiretap assignment, realizing it could force him to testify in court. Mélissa experiences other worrying moments with Marco.
Nadine asks Patrick to tell her about his conversation with Kevin. Chiasson brings together the entire team. He is not happy with the progress of the investigation into Welsh and does not hesitate to say so, but Nadine does not let herself be deterred. The anti-drug operation is reaching a turning point. Bruno, Stéphane and Patrick prepare for the procedure.
Jean Brière reports live on the evolution of the anti-drug operation. Chiasson learned that Welsh was willing to meet informally with investigators in the company of his lawyer, Me Durant. Nadine offers Patrick a dinner for four with Kevin and Sophie. Stéphane wants to explain more thoroughly with Sonia.
Kevin keeps Sophie company while Nadine and Patrick are at the hospital to get news of Stéphane, who was shot. They ask Sonia, who was with him, what happened. This attack mobilizes all law enforcement agencies involved in the fight against organized crime. The most formidable and feared investigator in the field, Tom Calastagne, takes charge of operations.
At the hospital to find out about Stéphane's condition, Nadine sees Cynthia Lessard, his ex. The Italians' specialist investigator, Nick Romano, asks Patrick to accompany him to meet one of the godfathers of the Montreal mafia. We explain to him that the pressure will not drop until we have arrested those responsible for the attack against Stéphane. Calastagne, who thanks Nadine for her attitude in this affair, uses the same language to the boss Christian Phaneuf, who complains about the police interventions which are damaging his business.
Saturday morning, Nadine and Patrick have lunch together to exchange their impressions of what is happening around them. Police pressure provokes a summit meeting of the four leaders of organized crime in Montreal: the Italians, the bikers, the street gangs and the Eastern gang. Suspicion falls on the Lamothe brothers, associated with Welsh and the Eastern gang, but their leader, McDougall, is caught out. Castalagne is of the opinion that we cannot go any further and that we must release the pressure on the environment.
Sunday morning, Jean Brière goes to the station to find out about Stéphane's condition and the events that are shaking the underworld. Bruno and Patrick strategically answer his questions. They are surprised to see Nadine show up. She claims to have some cleaning to do, but she doesn't seem happy. Alerted by Josiane, Daniel comes for a walk to have a good conversation with his lieutenant, who is also the daughter of a former colleague and friend. He tells her that it's high time she started thinking about herself a little.
Mr. Beauvais comes to see Isabelle again to denounce drug trafficking in her residence. Bruno continues to rehash details of the investigation into Théo, even though the case is in principle closed. Charles Migneault, director of operations at SPGM, comes to see Chiasson to inform him that a major armed robbery is in preparation targeting a purchasing center in his district. Nadine, who has not immersed herself in the heat of action since her promotion, goes there with Patrick.
Chiasson is surprised to discover the identity of the individual who was arrested while thwarting the armed robbery. Nadine and Patrick must explain to security agents under what circumstances they exchanged gunfire with the bandits. The team is impatient to discover the contents of the suspicious package which so attracted the criminals' desire.
Chiasson chairs a meeting on the famous package. He warns Director Jalbert, who would like Nadine to lead this investigation, but she really does not want to delve into this matter. Isabelle and Bruno discuss it while they monitor the residence for the elderly. They note that Mr. Beauvais' suspicions were once again well-founded.
Isabelle warns Mr. Beauvais to stay away from the pill dealer, because the case is much bigger than he can imagine. The material contained in the famous package may well be explosive, but it is a real puzzle from which nothing can be extracted without a conductor. Believing that Laurent Cloutier could be useful in this regard, Daniel goes to find him in prison. Nadine takes a very dim view of the idea of bringing Cloutier into the picture.
Patrick surprises Nadine by telling her of his desire to take a sabbatical year. Chiasson and Nadine receive the chief of staff of the Minister of Justice Guillaume Nantel who would like to recover the package seized during the police operation at the shopping center. Director Jalbert and his new right-hand man, Louis Bourgoin, summon them on this subject. Isabelle informs the director of the retirement home of the drug trafficking while asking her to cooperate with the investigation.
Daniel meets Suzanne, Laurent's wife, to try to bring her back to better feelings towards the latter. He then goes to the prison with Patrick to ask Laurent to help them unravel the matter of the package addressed to the Minister of Justice. Patrick reveals certain information about this affair to Jean Brière. Mélissa Quesnel shows up at Mr. Beauvais' residence where she will pose as a cleaning lady.
Sunday morning, Nadine and Patrick have lunch together to discuss the ongoing investigation, while chatting about their respective lives. For his part, Daniel attends a summit meeting with Louis Bourgoin, Director Jalbert and the chiefs of staff of the Ministers of Justice, Guillaume Nantel, and Public Security, Jean-Claude Foisy. Daniel wants to be given a copy of the letter that accompanied the package before considering handing it over. Bourgoin insists that the 31 team carry out the investigation to the end, even if it is likely to make waves in high places.
Isabelle and Bruno must urgently go to the residence for the elderly where events are happening. Laurent is passing through the station and Patrick brings him to explain the ins and outs of the wiretapping operations that he was carrying out with other SPGM retirees. Patrick thus understands the scale of the investigation in which he is engaged.
Nadine asks Daniel to bring Laurent. She wants to know the names of those who used illegal wiretapping to strike a blow. Bruno is upset when he is asked to investigate the disappearance of a newborn baby at the hospital. The mother, Léanne Pothier, is in all her states.
Jean Brière follows live the search that is being carried out on the homes of many retired police officers. Laurent is furious and worried about being quoted in his report. Surrounded by Chiasson and Bourgoin, director Jalbert addresses a brief statement to the press. Nadine once again ensures that she has carte blanche to pursue her plan. Elliott Genest, the father of the missing baby, suspects his ex, Mila Pronovost, of being involved in the kidnapping.
Nadine questions the main suspect in the drugs affair, Felipe Franco. At the same time, Patrick and Mélissa Quesnel try to get the residence's nurse, Joëlle Sauvé, to formally denounce him. Still concerned about the scale of the investigation into illegal wiretapping, Daniel informs Nadine of the effects that are already being felt in high places.
Nadine receives an encouraging call from the FBI, who has reportedly found a baby matching the description of the baby kidnapped from the hospital. A settling of scores complicates the investigation into illegal wiretapping. Isabelle questions Mila Pronovost, who continues to maintain that she had nothing to do with the disappearance of her ex's daughter.
Knowing they are being spied on, Nadine and Patrick make arrangements. Two slightly strange people, who call themselves Gabriel and Marie, show up to report a kidnapping.
The team is not at the end of its surprises when Laurent describes the modus operandi of the ex-police officers who carry out electronic surveillance. Chiasson informs Jalbert and Bourgoin. Pascal Bouchard does his best to try to bring his wife, Mélissa, to reason.
Nadine and Patrick see Laurent again. The latter surprises Nadine with information relating to her father. Jean Brière makes a spectacular announcement on TV. Director Jalbert confirms his information at a press conference. Pascal Bouchard goes to the station to talk to Nadine about his wife's progress.
Nadine tells Patrick what she learned about the surveillance they were subjected to. Excitement reigns at the station as ex-police officers arrested in connection with illegal surveillance are brought in. Patrick is determined to make one of them speak. Bruno reacts badly when the team is urgently called to investigate another tragedy.
Nadine clarifies to Patrick the boundaries between the personal and the professional. We recall Gabriel/Bazin and Marie/Annie Laparé in connection with Mélissa's file. The stakes are rising and there is a lot of excitement surrounding wiretapping. Daniel asks Nadine to speed up the investigation. The journalist Jean Brière will once again be called upon.
Mayor Fillion and his chief of staff, Georges Capistran, comment on the interview with Director Jalbert in the newspaper. Daniel and Nadine review other evidence leading to an important arrest in the wiretapping case in the company of Sonia and her boss at the criminal prosecution department, Bouliane. We question Bazin's ex-wife, Geneviève Limoges, who lifts the veil on certain practices of the guru.
Jean Brière testifies to another arrest live. Bruno obtains a search warrant to search Bazin's home. While the team is pleased with the progress of its investigations, the issue of the hand dryer resurfaces. Daniel warmly congratulates Nadine for her work on the wiretap issue. She doesn't really know how to react when Kenny Brown, the man who shot her recently released father, shows up at the station to ask for forgiveness.
Bruno tells Sonia what we have against Bazin in order to be able to arrest him before he flies to Nicaragua. Da-Xia reveals a little-known part of her personality by examining with Nadine what she found on Bazin. As the team prepares to leave at the end of a busy week, they are interrupted by the arrival of a young woman and her little daughter who clings to her. She wants to speak to an investigator as soon as possible.
Isabelle is back from vacation. She immediately has to deal with Delphine Simon, a young woman who claims to have been sexually assaulted by a pop singer. Sonia discusses Erika's case with Nadine. She wants to see the investigators' reports and a statement from little Lydie before making a decision.
Chiasson ensures that Stéphane did not say anything to Jean Brière, who published an article about the suspicions hanging over singer Jimmy Munroe. He appears in the company of his lawyer, Me Durand, to give his version. Nathalie Lebel, from the Sûreté du Québec, meets Bruno and Patrick to inform them of new facts related to the assassination of private detective Claude Lefebvre.
Da-Xia takes inventory of everything she could find concerning the evening where Munroe allegedly attacked Delphine Simon. A cloud passes between Nadine and Isabelle, who has the feeling of being supervised a little too closely. Accompanied by Sonia, Patrick and Bruno meet the prosecutor Robert Laplante to talk to him about Claude Lefebvre.
Patrick and Nadine are considering buying a house. Isabelle explains to her colleagues the beating her daughter suffered after leaving school. She nevertheless wants to stay at work. Nadine asks Stéphane to support her. They called Delphine Simon back to explain more about the accusations she made against Jimmy Munroe. Suzanne comes to see Daniel to ask him for a favor.
Daniel accompanies Suzanne to prison to see Laurent. Isabelle gives news of her daughter to Nadine. The two take the opportunity to explain themselves. An elderly lady calls the station to report the death of her husband, suffering from Alzheimer's disease. As Patrick is on leave, Stéphane accompanies Bruno. They question the widow, Mrs. Alice Chartrand.
Martine reports the medical examiner's report concerning the death of Mr. Chartrand to Nadine and Bruno. In light of this information, Bruno and Stéphane meet Mme Chartrand's son, Serge. They are uncomfortable with the evolution of this file and discuss it with Sonia. Éric Bonnier, the detective from the neighboring station who is investigating the attack committed against Isabelle's daughter, talks to Nadine about the leads which are becoming clearer.
Nadine tells Chiasson the name of the individual Bonnier is preparing to arrest for the attack on Isabelle's daughter. She asks Stéphane to use his contacts to find out if he is connected to a criminal biker gang. Serge Chartrand returns to the station to tell his whole story to Bruno and Nadine.
The boss of the Sixers, Christian Phaneuf, confirms to Stéphane that the attacker of Isabelle's daughter would be a small player in another club, but he also confides in him some disturbing information. Sonia and Bruno formally question former prosecutor Laplante. Chiasson announces to Nadine that the minister is ordering a public inquiry into the wiretapping affair. He also tells her of a proposal from Director Jalbert for her.
Nadine asks Stéphane the reason for his argument with Isabelle. Sonia tells Bruno that Douglas is ready to talk about his relationships with Claude Lefebvre and Antoine Maître. Bruno asks Nadine to bring Patrick, who is on leave, to question him with him. Jacob, from internal affairs, questions repeat offender Vadnais about his complaint against Isabelle. Nadia, a prostitute who wants to work independently, comes to ask for police protection.
Laurent Cloutier continues to fuel conversations at the station. Bruno and Patrick believe they have enough material to arrest Antoine Maître, but they will first have to convince Sonia. Isabelle has a good conversation with her daughter, Sara. She continues to reject Vadnais' accusations outright when Jacob comes to question her again.
Bonnier, then Jacob return to see Isabelle about Vadnais. Nadine, who receives anonymous calls, asks Da-Xia to review them. Castalagne meets Stéphane to tell him about the rumors circulating about Isabelle in the underworld and to talk to him about Welsh. Nadia and her friends receive a visit from Léopold Jean, who demands $4,000 per week to leave them in peace.
Patrick and Bruno continue the questioning of Douglas' lawyer, Me Bourbonnais, accused of obstructing justice. They discreetly arrest the wealthy Antoine Maître. Patrick begins the interrogation, which presents itself as a very close match. Christian Phaneuf repeats that the community is convinced that Isabelle attacked Vadnais. Nadine feels a lot of pressure, but she knows that she can absolutely count on Patrick.
Patrick and Stéphane discuss the latest escapades of Isabelle's daughter. Anne Valéry, Antoine Maître's ex, comes to the station to see the investigators. She asks them to talk to their daughter Charlotte again. Stéphane is informed of the disappearance of the criminal Léopold Jean. Jean Brière has just come to find out about this.
Tom Castalagne teases Nadine about the rumors circulating about her and Patrick. He comes to meet Stéphane to involve him in an anti-drug operation. Da-Xia takes inventory of what she discovered about the pimp's phone conversations.
Nadine continues to receive worrying calls. Alerted by Castalagne, she returns to the charge with Isabelle to get the facts straight about Vadnais. Stéphane asks Brière to publish certain information about Welsh, recently arrested for loan sharking.
Nadine informs Daniel of the unpleasant encounter she had the day before with Patrick. Isabelle tries to reason with her daughter again. Daniel calls a summit meeting when we risk finding ourselves in open war with organized crime. Believing that this goes back to the vast anti-drug operation in schools, he asks Mélissa Quesnel to participate.
