Harry is attracted to a minister (Maureen Mueller) Charley is dating. Meanwhile Laverne decides to sell her truck and Maxine offers to buy it.
Maxine gets unwanted attention while dating a weatherman (Julius Carry).
Charlie's handy man moves in as his roommate, really impressing Carol, however Charlie is soon to get a big surprise. Maxine meets some of Harry's golf buddies and Harry's concerns that she won't fit in, soon are laid to rest in a unexpected way.
Carol tries to meet a man who has been writing in to her advice column with the local paper.
A relative of Carley's dies.
Maxine is driven crazy when she ends up having to watch a patients four children while the mother is in the hospital. Meanwhile Harry is preparing for a costume party.
Carol is jealous of her new beau's relationship with her son.
Charley is jealous of Harry's friendship with Carol's boss.
