Four in a Bed is a British reality television game show that has been airing on Channel 4 since 22 November 2010. The show involves four B&B owners, who take turns to stay with one another - and pay what they consider fair for their stay. The winner is the establishment named best value for money.
The competition kicks off in North Yorkshire, where hosts Kerrie and Vickie hope that their countryside pub's cosy vibes will be a hit.
People pleaser Hollie and people distruster Ben host the second visit, at their plush self-catering apartments in the heart of Harrogate.
Tabitha and Steve have a 'relax and recharge' ethos at their Staffordshire glampsite. But one B&Ber isn't so relaxed about the great outdoors...
The week's final visit is to The Bull Inn in Berkshire, where Ana and Dominic hope that their homely pub's quintessential character will charm the B&Bers.
Payment day's sure to be a spicy affair this time around, with high emotions, awkward exchanges and plenty of pernickety comments to unpick.
Do the B&Bers like to be beside the seaside? First host Andy hopes so at his Blackpool guesthouse, where he's laying on a day of arcades and ice cream on the beach.
The B&Bers have an udderly good time getting to grips with a very unusual cow at Charlotte and Matt's Warwickshire glampsite.
Karen and Bryan want to give their guests fever - cabin fever that is! They're immensely proud of their luxury lodges in Powys. Will their guests love them too?
Ying and Jean host the week's final visit, at Castle Inn in Powys. They have a big task on their hands to ensure a peaceful visit for their guests, with tensions among the B&Bers already bubbling away before anyone's even checked in. Fortunately, Ying and Jean have the answer to restore harmony - pies.
Payment day sees consternation and heated debate about slightly stained teacups and whether a double bed is really a double bed if it's two single beds pushed together. Afterwards, the B&Bers find out how much they've been paid and - more importantly - learn who's won.
The B&Bers head to Tideswell in the Peak District for the week's first visit, where brothers Richard and Mick host at their pub The George Inn. Everyone explores each other's hidden depths during an afternoon in a cave, and one pair of hosts impress everyone else when they reveal their wealth of experience. Unfortunately, Richard and Mick are less impressed by some cleanliness scores that they just can't brush off.
Laura and Lucy host the week's second visit, at Clementine's Guest House in York. With an amazing location and an impressive breakfast, the rest of the group seem worried about their chances in the competition.
Hosts Jonny and Sasha encourage all of their guests to relax in the idyll of their awe-inspiring rural setting at Haystacks Country Retreats in Birstwith, North Yorkshire. The group all get on swimmingly during an afternoon spent in some rowing boats in nearby Knaresborough, ensuring there's no needle at Haystacks.
The week's final visit is to Cherry Tree Guest House in Bridlington on the East Yorkshire coast, where hosts Simon and Carol are nervous about being judged by their peers. It turns out they needn't have worried, with plenty of praise from the B&Bers for their rooms. However, one of them subsequently finds a hair in a drawer.
After the high drama of stray hairs in drawers and grumbles about not having somewhere convenient to put a towel, the week draws to a close with payment day. Who will emerge victorious from all of that rip-roaring madness?
Shauna and Sam start the week by hosting at Wonderland Retreats Luxury Glamping in Carnforth, Lancashire where their guests enjoy hot tubs, cinema screens and pizza ovens.
Ussy and Bobsey host at Optimal Apartments, their luxury self-catering digs in the heart of Bradford. Unfortunately for the hosts, some of their guests aren't sure that flat-pack furniture equates to luxury. At least a boating trip in the local park is a smash hit - but the success doesn't prevent the hosts from having a sinking feeling at feedback time.
Nick hosts the week's third visit at Impossible Motel in the centre of York, where he offers a range of quirky rooms including 'rock star' suites complete with hot tubs and an eyebrow-raising dungeon room with a bed on chains.
The guests stay at Beach Suites in Southport for the week's final visit, where host Dan's no-nonsense approach to a classic seaside getaway proves popular. The group is less positive about issues with cleanliness at the venue and receives a surprise when black belt Dan reveals they will be spending the afternoon at his martial arts academy.
Two hosts decide upon an all-guns-blazing approach to payment day, knowing full well that they've vastly underpaid everyone. With allegations of game playing and dishonest marking flying like bullets in a warzone, it's quite the tension-filled affair - and no one's getting out unscathed.
