The sky's the limit! Here's jet-age hilarity ... a series of supersonic flights into zany fun with MILLICENT MARTIN and PATTE FINLEY as two high-spirited air stewardesses who find themselves involved in one dizzy dilemma after another.
FROM A BIRD'S EYE VIEW takes viewers into whirlwind comedy as the two girls take-off into laughter-filled situations with PETER JONES as their long-suffering boss and ROBERT CAWDRON as Millie's Irish uncle. MILLICENT MARTIN plays the well-meaning, but impulsive "Millie" whose heart rules her head when holding out a helping hand to those in trouble. But the helping hand is often an unintentional push into even greater complications. . . .
PATTE FINLEY is her anguished American co-stewardess who knows that every trip is going to be a flight into fantastic adventure in one part of the world or another.
MILLICENT MARTIN needs little introduction to viewers. She is one of Britain's most versatile entertainers-actress, singer, dancer, comedienne. She's the girl who has been hailed in the theatre, on television and in the cinema (remember her in "Alfie"?). Now, as the sky-rocketing stewardess in FROM A BIRD'S EYE VIEW, she stars in her first-run off NBC-TV network With her, as her partner "Maggie", is a captivating new face to television screens, pertly attractive PATTE FINLEY, whose American wit provides a perfect foil to Millie's individualistic sense of humour. PETER JONES, as the girls' harassed airline boss, is well-known for his portrayals of worried men in numerous comedy programmes. Now he has as much to worry about in the air as on the ground.
And ROBERT CAWDRON, who plays Millie's amusing "Uncle Bert" in the series, adds to the fun.
