With a sixth sense for the unexpected and delicious, brothers Adam and Andrew Erace travel the country in search of America's hidden food treasures in Great American Food Finds. Whether it's the Mac and Cheese Pie at the out-of-the-way farm stand, or the bacon-studded fudge brownies at the hole-in-the-wall bakery, the Erace brothers are on a mission to find it, eat it, and share it with America.
Join brothers Adam and Andrew Erace as they seek out hidden, amazing food treasures. First, a purveyor in Delaware Water Gap, Pa., makes mac and cheese just like your grandmother, but puts it in a pie crust. Then, they're off to try uniquely flavored pierogi in a Wolcott, Conn., garage, before landing in Jersey City, N.J., where they meet a family who creates an unforgettable vegetable ice cream made from purple yams. Finally, when the brothers spot a Belgian waffle van on the street, they can't help but follow that truck back to company headquarters!
Things heat up as Adam and Andrew Erace begin their road trip with a tangy bacon marmalade made in a community firehouse in Bucks County, Pa. Then, in the sleepy town of Bantam, Conn., they find a European-inspired bakery that has created an irresistible cinnamon-dusted treat. The brothers head closer to home in Pennsylvania when they receive a tip about a purveyor who puts a bold twist on her family's traditional dumpling recipe, and later, they stop in New Hope, Pa., to explore a salted, bacon-infused brownie.
Brothers Adam and Andrew Erace are on the hunt for hidden food treasures, which brings them to an unexpected detour at a fudge shop making stacked French toast marshmallows in Flemington, N.J. Next, they head to the end of Atlantic City's boardwalk to witness a spicy, modern take on hand-pulled mozzarella, then check out a delectable Connecticut bakery serving a sugar-dusted hybrid pastry that oozes strawberry lava. Finally, they touch down in charming Kennett Square, Pa., home to a sweet and savory pie shop.
Brothers Adam and Andrew Erace travel off the beaten path in Bristol, Conn., where they discover decadent homespun candies covered in sweet chocolate and salty snacks. Next, they're off to rural Ringoes, N.J., to visit a family-run business that creates a sandwich cookie stuffed with tasty, frozen cheesecake. Then, they're back on the road to whimsical Roscoe, N.Y., where they find handcrafted ravioli.
Join brothers Adam and Andrew Erace as they find a taste of the south in Yonkers, N.Y., with a heavenly sweet potato pound cake. Traveling up to the Catskill Mountains, they stop in Delhi, N.Y., where they uncover handmade sausages with never-before-seen flavor combinations. Their final stop is Southington, Conn., where they meet a duo that makes incredible savory meat pies that are perfect on the go.
