Next Episode of HIM is
Three-part domestic horror drama. The story focuses on a 17-year-old boy, known only as HIM, who struggles to contain the terrifying secret of an inherited supernatural power.
With the repercussions his parents' divorce and their consequent remarriages knocking HIM's (Fionn Whitehead) world out of balance, he finds himself struggling with adolescence, failing grades and feelings he cannot control. However, unlike other teenagers, HIM has the additional pressure of learning to master his inherited telekinetic powers.
Living in between both his parents' houses, HIM feels ousted by their respective new families, with his Dad (James Murray) expecting twins with his new wife and a baby brother to contend with at his Mum's (Katherine Kelly) house. However, when his stepsister Faith (Simona Brown) moves in, the fragile balance is threatened further as he develops feelings towards her.
With only his grandmother to confide in, who urges HIM to use his abilities for good rather than in anger, will HIM be able to keep his emotions – and powers – in check?
Having lost control over his powers and nearly destroying his Dad's house, HIM's parents struggle to work out what is best for their son, whilst he continues to fight his feelings for stepsister, Faith.
When therapist, Ross's (Alec Newman) whole scientific belief system is called into question after he witnesses HIM's (Fionn Whitehead) powers first-hand, he is determined to find a way to help his patient. Is there anyone he can trust with this life-changing secret though?
Meanwhile, following the accident, Azfal (Aaron Phagura) remains unconscious in intensive care. With his family and Faith (Simona Brown) praying for him to wake up, HIM feels helpless, particularly when Faith berates him for running from the scene. Will HIM find a way to use his powers for good to help his friend?
HIM's parents also come to a decision on how best to help their son. However, HIM comes to a painful and irrevocable decision of his own as to how to protect those closest to him.
