Hot Package is an entertainment variety show, created by Derrick Beckles. The show parodies network entertainment shows such as Entertainment Tonight and Access Hollywood. Instead of sourcing its news from real celebrities, TV shows, and films, all of Hot Package's "entertainment" news comes from found footage, including clips from forgotten B Films and bizarre TV shows.
With Pat O'Brien on vacation, Mark McGrath fills in as Derrick's cohost. But things go awry when Hollywood goes on strike, and a disgruntled millitant holds the studio hostage. The show draws to a dramatic conclusion, and someone dies.
Derrick gets into the hottest topics in Hollywood sex and violence with the help of Joey Greco (Cheaters) and Hot Package's first ever Deep Focus Group. HP counts down its top sexiest moments, and Mark McGrath returns as a cohost... sort of.
Hologram Mark McGrath is up and running! Derrick recaps the winners of the 8th Annual Success Awards. The Rising Star Screen Test kicks off with two Hollywood hopefuls, and Corey Feldman stops by just in time for a sexy song duet.
Derrick, artist David Choe, and the HP crew celebrate the golden era of Hollywood by dressing as their Hollywood heroes. Fabio brings Derrick a neverbeforeseen photo from the set of Acapulco Heat, and cult filmmaker Kenneth Anger dishes about the darker side of Tinseltown.
Derrick finds himself in the middle of a scandal. He's seen destroying mysterious videotapes, which Jeff Deane Turner is set to air. He gets a bit of advice from exHollywood madam, Heidi Fleiss, and Hologram Mark McGrath enjoys a glorious send off.
