Reality show where a bunch of celebrities are dropped in camps in the South African jungle and left to, mostly, fend for themselves, with challenges made allowing them to win food and other comforts, whilst the cameras watch on and viewers volunteer who gets to stay and who does some of the challenges.
The celebrities must find a way to survive the challenges, the gory food, the jungle, and each other.
Julia and Chris check up on the celebrities after their first night in the jungle without shelter, and share a surprise announcement.
The celebrities must scale a large and slippery foam staircase, while dealing with a sneezing elephant.
The celebrities struggle to survive on basic rations of rice and beans, but must face the prospect of impala tongue and a maggot milkshake.
Julia and Chris assign a secret mission for one of the campmates, but it may prove to be an impossible task for them.
Julia and Chris have a big surprise for the celebrities which potentially entails a hot shower, a double bed, a three course meal, or a new campmate.
The celebrities must travel from point A to point B in an underwater tunnel to collect stars with the aid of their air pockets.
A pair of celebrities must try and play bingo while stuck inside a tomb filled with jungle creepy-crawlies.
The celebrities play a game of spin the wheel to determine the contents of their dinner, and there's a lot to avoid.
Celebrities must find items hidden among a garbage disposal centre filled with rubbish. They must also earn enough stars.
The celebrities are tested by the scariest trial the trials department have ever come up with, and one group will be leaving the jungle.
A celebrity gets trapped in the viper room, a dark, underground coffin that slowly fills with creepy-crawlies, while their only hope of escape lies with their fellow celebrities.
The celebrities have their knowledge of animal calls tested in the trial, with the camps attempting to mimic those sounds.
Trial goers are given the chance to kick balls at cardboard cut-outs of celebs with open mouths, where a ball in determines who eats the dish.
The campmates attempt some carnival favourites that have received a torturous makeover. The celebrities need to beat the games to win meals for the camp.
The celebs take on a bungee jumping build-a-burger challenge on Super Hero Sunday as they head into finals week, and another celeb will be sent home.
Two celebs must communicate effectively to collect stars while suspended in tilting tunnels above a river, or fall into the water below.
Three celebs take on an eating challenge in Spin it to Bin it, and two celebs leave the jungle in a double elimination.
The celebs still in the competition head off to a new trial called The Big Wave, and another contender is sent home.
The remaining competitors have their knowledge of their departed campmates put to the test while sitting above a dunk tank.
After four long weeks, the time in the jungle comes to an end as one of the celebs will finally be crowned the King or Queen of the Jungle.
