Katie travels to the American Bible Belt where around three quarters of adults identify as Christian. She visits a faith-based alternative to Jail that supports pregnant women and mothers.

Katie travels to Chicago where 8 in10 women locked up are mothers. She meets a sheriff keeping pregnant women out of jail & a radical programme keeping women in touch with their kids.

Katie travels to Illinois where 1 in 20 children have a parent who's locked up. She visits Decatur Prison, a facility that allows mothers to keep their babies with them behind bars.
