“Krystala” is a serialized Sci-Fi, fantasy adventure superserye/fanteserye) also known as a soap opera. Tala who is played by actress Judy Ann Santos finds a crystal that contains the spirit of the legendary diwata sorceress Luwalhati who is played by actress Angel Jacob. A diwata also sometimes called a enkantada is a mythological creature/person similar to a fairy or nymph. It seems that Luwalhati was imprisoned in the crystal over a hundred years ago by the devilish type being Harimon who is played by actor Emilio Garcia. Tala joins forces with Luwalhati to help eliminate all the evil spirits that inhabit the earth. Tala then decides to move to manila where they believed most of the evil beings dwell and takes a job at a shopping mall. She next learns that Harimon who was also imprisoned himself was recently set free by a girl named Zorah who is played by actress Chin Chin Gutierrez. She next finds out that Harimon has joined forces with the evil Super Z also played by Gutierrez, a vampire named Kabagona, drag queen Terracota and a shapeshifter named Luminax. Kabagona is played by actress Alma Concepcion, Terracota is played by actor “Michael Flores” and Luminax is played by actress Desiree Del Valle. Tala uses her magic crystal to transform herself into the superheroine Krystala. Her abilities/powers include flying, super speed, superhuman strength and teleportation. She can shoot Krystal energy blasts out of her hands, she can create earthquakes and she is skilled in the martial arts.
