No floorboard is left unturned as dynamic property experts Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer help house hunters find the perfect home in the perfect location.
Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer are back to guide more house-hunters through an ever-changing market, beginning in Surrey, a commuter hotspot for people who work in London and a county filled with English charm. Emily and Jack have put their wedding on hold until they find a home but have so far fallen foul of houses not looking as good as they do in the brochures. Jane, who has worked all over the world, wants to put down roots in Farnham. Phil lives nearby but it soon becomes clear his local knowledge is no guarantee of an easy search.
Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer help two couples find homes in Leeds. Emily and Lucy, a paramedic and a nurse, are spoilt for choice when Kirstie gives them multiple attractive options that are convenient for the hospital where they both work. Sarah and Tom, meanwhile, are currently living apart and challenge Phil to find the perfect balance of indoor and outdoor space so they can move on with their lives together.
Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer search for properties in Wales, with one couple who crossed the world to live there and another who have always called it home. Tish and Ramone moved to the country from Cape Town and now they consider it their adopted home. It's Kirstie's job to find them a dream place that's both full of period charm and low maintenance. Phil is with Gemma and Ellis who are Welsh born and bred, but even with their local knowledge they are finding it difficult to get a future family home in Newport.
Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer search for properties in west London. Philip is with Jody and Shane, originally from Canada and Australia. They have a healthy £1 million budget, although they do need a house big enough to accommodate their large international family they come to visit. Kirstie helps Roopal and Hershil, who are living with their respective parents and want a place of their own before they tie the knot in just a couple of months' time. For these foodies it's all about cooking and entertaining space. Can Kirstie find them a house with all the right ingredients?
Phil Spencer comes to the aid of Michael - better known as former Olympian Eddie 'the Eagle' Edwards - who together with partner Karen is seeking a dream home in Berkshire. The trouble is, they've already viewed 100 houses in 18 months and are getting desperate. Kirstie Allsopp helps first-time buyers Orla and Luke in Hampshire. They've already lost one house they loved but Kirstie knows of another that could be a winner. However, another couple are keen and they are due in 15 minutes, so a speedy viewing is in order.
Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer catch up with a couple in Edinburgh, and one in Derbyshire, almost 20 years after their search with the dream duo, which means they've had plenty of time for life to move on in wonderful ways. Kirstie and Phil first searched with Steph and Tana in Edinburgh in 2020, and although one house really stood out for them, its proximity to Edinburgh Airport's flightpath put them off. After the search they took Kirstie and Phil's advice on board and broadened their search, and four years on the pair find them in a house where they weren't afraid to get stuck in themselves. Wendy and Simon asked for Kirstie and Phil's help in Derbyshire way back in 2007, when they needed a house that could also accommodate their businesses - Wendy's as a fashion designer and Simon's as a photographer. They had an offer accepted, which ultimately fell through, but five years later they were in a three-bed cottage in Darley Abbey. They decided to keep work and home separate, so were renting a business unit nearby and work was flourishing. Fast forward another 12 years and it's all change again - a new house, two children and three photographic studios!
A catch-up with two couples who were looking for homes in east and south London respectively. Professional musicians Molly and Sam were looking for a two or three-bedroom home to grow into as a family but the properties they preferred were selling quicker than Kirstie could show them - or already had offers on the table for £50,000 over asking price. Meanwhile, Rachel and Alan were fed up with paying a whopping £2,000 a month in rent and wanted somewhere they could put their stamp on. Their heads were turned by some striking options, but eventually a stunning three-bedroom Victorian terrace in Crystal Palace won their hearts.
Phil Spencer revisits Hayley and James, who he helped search for a home around Newbury in Wiltshire back in 2019, to find out how they have got on since their search, when they struggled to decide between all the properties he had lined up. There's also a catch-up with Camilla and Liam, who back in 2022 wanted to get out of rented accommodation and into their own home near Solihull in the West Midlands. It was a search that meant certain compromise, but now, four years later - and having got married and started a family - how are the couple finding their new life?
