Look and Read is a BBC television programme for primary schools, aimed at improving children's literacy skills. The programme presents fictional stories in a serial format, the first of which was broadcast in 1967 and the most recent in 2004, making it the longest running nationally broadcast programme for schools in the UK. The series remains popular among school children, and has also gained a cult following among those who have grown up with it.
Hester finds a new friend, who helps her to find out more about the mysterious happenings at the mansion.
Ben follows Hester and Katie to a local fair, and tries to talk to Hester about the girl in blue.
Ben helps Hester escape from the Wherry after she discovers that the Trimbys stole her aunt and uncle's gold. He finds out more about the girl in blue.
Nathan is in the clutches of the evil Bob Trimby. Uncle Augustus comes to the rescue, and after hearing what happened, sends Trimby off alone. Uncle Augustus explains what he's invented, and the mystery of the girl in blue is revealed.
