Marley's Ghosts has a very intriguing premise - Marley has a rare gift that comes with mixed blessings. She can talk to the dead, which sadly now includes both her husband Adam, her lover Michael as well as the local vicar. Dead awkward.So begins a bizarre ménage-a-quatre, with Adam, Michael and the vicar all moving in, albeit in ghostly form, to Marley's haunt, sorry, home.Naturally Marley isn't crazy about this new set up - but all looks rosy again when the ghosts convince her that they're just a figment of her overwrought imagination, and for a moment she really believes they've gone. But, no, these apparitions ain't evaporating - they're going nowhere.
The supernatural sitcom returns for a second series. Marley moves into her new home, while her ex-lover Michael's past comes back to haunt him.
Marley's attempts to befriend her neighbours are disrupted by her wayward niece. Adam, Michael and the Vicar have a night out.
A courtroom drama causes Marley to try and be a better person, but showing emotion doesn't prove easy. Meanwhile a new ghost in town offers Adam, Michael and the Vicar a chance of a new life away from Marley.
Marley and Adam go to war over Marley's determination to find someone actually alive to love. Meanwhile, a surprise nude painting causes problems for the gang.
Marley discovers that her imaginary childhood friend was actually a ghost and tries to find her.
Marley receives a very surprising Christmas gift that leads to big changes for her and the ghosts. Things will never be the same again.
