“Music at the Meadowbrook” was a weekly music variety show seen on ABC TV. The series debuted on 23 May 1953 as a 1-hour long Saturday night entertainment show. Some of the hosts for this show were Bill Williams, Frank Dailey, Jimmy Blaine and Walter Herlihy amoung others. This series originated from The Meadowbrook Night Club owned by Frank Dailey and located in Cedar Grove, New Jersey. Performers each week mostly consisted of the Big Bands of the day and their Band Leaders and Orchestras. After 3 seasons the show was cancelled on 19 April 1956.
This series was seen over its’ 3-year run in 3 different timeslots which included:
May 1953 - September 1953 - Saturday 7:00 - 8:00PM
October 1953 - December 1953 - Saturday 8:00 - 9:00PM
January 1954 - December 1955 - On Hiatus
January 1956 - April 1956 - Thursday 10:00 - 10:30PM
