Join Esther as she goes skiing for the first time. Esther is enjoying playing in the park when Dad asks if she'd like to go on a ski trip. Esther and her family go to a dry ski slope to practice skiing before going to Scotland to ski on real snow. Once they arrive in Scotland, they get a funicular railway to the top of the ski slope. Esther meets her instructor for her ski lesson. She learns to put her skis on, skis down the mountain, and then finishes the day by making snow angels.
Join Eiliyah and her grandma as they take their first trip to the seaside. First Eiliyah gets on an old tram that takes her along the seafront where they spot a large tower. Eiliyah and her grandma climb the tower and can see the beach below. They then go on to the beach to build a sandcastle and paddle in the water. As Eiliyah is having such a great time, she sends her mum a postcard telling her about her exciting day. Finally Eiliyah enjoys playing on the pier and ends her trip with an ice cream.
Join Jake as he bakes a cake for the first time. Jake and his mum begin by making mud cakes in a mud kitchen. They then have lunch in a cafe where they see some really big cakes. Jake and his mum are invited to the factory to see the cakes getting made. Jake learns how to make a rainbow cake and helps the baker to decorate it. Back at home, Jake bakes Dad a welcome home cake. Whilst the cake is baking they decorate the garden for Dad's big surprise. Dad arrives home and they all celebrate by eating Jake's surprise cake.
Join Jamie as he goes to a castle for the first time. Jamie plays 'castles' with his mum, who then tells him they are going to visit a real castle. Jamie and Mum then arrive at the castle and see the falconer, who shows them how falcons fly. Jamie then goes to knight school to see what it was like to be a knight and to watch some archery. Next, Jamie explores the castle to see where the king used to live. They finish their day watching a large trebuchet launch a heavy rock, just like in medieval times.
Join Rex as he goes on a caravan holiday in Wales. Rex is excited to find out he's going on a holiday in a caravan with all his family. When he arrives at the caravan park he collects the keys to the caravan and then explores his home for the holidays. Rex then goes swimming with Mum and Dad before helping Mum prepare the dinner. The next day Rex and his family go for a day out exploring. Rex takes a ride on an old tram, then he has a go on a toboggan, where he races Dad down the hill. Rex ends his day back at the caravan playing games with his mum and Nana.
Join Jesse as he goes to an air show for the first time. Jesse is making paper aeroplanes with his family when Dad tells him they are going to an air show. First, Jesse and his family go to an air museum where they learn about different kinds of aircraft and what they're used for. Jesse gets to see all lots of aeroplanes and tries flying a helicopter. At the air show Jesse watches the plane displays and explores the stalls. The Red Arrows display team close the show with their exciting manoeuvres.
Join Masie as she gets her first bike. Masie and Mum are watching people ride their bikes when Mum asks Masie if she'd like a bike of her own. Masie goes to a bike shop to choose the right bike for her. To help her stay safe, Masie then chooses a helmet and some lights. Masie goes to a cycling class to help her keep her balance and learn to ride her bike. After a lot of practice, Masie and Mum take their bikes for a fun ride along the cycle path.
Join Annie as she learns to ride a horse. Annie loves horses and Mum decides to surprise Annie with a riding lesson. Annie and her mum go to the riding school where she chooses Thunder the horse and saddles him up for her lesson. A few days later, Annie goes back to the stables and helps clean and feed Thunder and has her second riding lesson where she practises her balance and learns to trot.
Join Fern as she has her first birthday party. Fern is counting the days until her birthday when Mum asks her if she would like a birthday party. They plan an animal-themed party and Fern hands out the invitations. To get ready, Fern helps Mum with the party bags, the games and decorating her cake. Fern and her friends have a great time at the party, playing with face paints, clay and a bouncy castle before sitting down to enjoy the party food and singing Happy Birthday as the cake comes out.
Join Ava as she goes to the dentist for the first time. Ava's mum explains what happens when you go to the dentist, then takes her for her first check-up. The dentist counts Ava's teeth and gives her a timer and chart to help her know how long to brush her teeth for. At home, Ava plays dentist and practices brushing her teeth. Ava and Mum then look at which snacks are good for her teeth. Ava brushes her teeth one more time before going back to the dentist for her next check-up.
Join Grace as she starts her first hobby. Grace's mum collects jewellery, and they go to an antiques shop to see what they can find. Grace sees some gemstones and decides she would like to collect them as a hobby. Mum then takes Grace to a large cave to find out where gemstones come from. They then go to a shop that sells gemstones so Grace can build her collection. Grace and Mum then go on a gemstone hunt before going home to make jewellery out of her collected stones.
Join Daniella as she learns to swim. Daniella plays with her toys in her paddling pool when Mum asks her if she'd like to learn to swim. She has her first swimming lesson, then visits an aquarium to learn how fish swim and breathe in the water. Daniella then goes to a swimming pool with her family to practice what she has learnt and to help her improve. She even receives a certificate for her hard work at swimming.
Join Lennox as he goes on his first picnic. Lennox loves playing 'teddy bears' picnic' with his mum and dad, so they decide to go on a real picnic. Lennox helps shop for the food for his picnic and then prepares his own special train sandwiches. They go on a ferry to an island where he visits a lighthouse and goes bird watching. After all this adventure, Lennox and his family choose a spot to enjoy their picnic. Finally, they play fun games by the water and spot a seal before catching the ferry home.
Join Heidi as she goes to a safari park for the first time. Heidi is making animal masks when her mum suggests they go to a safari park. Heidi and Mum drive around the main safari and see many different animals, including rhinos and lions. Heidi then takes a trip on the safari bus through the baboon enclosure and watches the baboons climb all over the bus. Mum and Heidi take a train ride around the park to see more animals and Heidi feeds the giraffe before going home.
Join George as he gets his first big bed. George is getting taller so Mum and Dad decide he is ready for a big bed. At the bed shop, George sees different types of beds before choosing a big red bus bed. He then goes to a bed factory to see how a mattress is made. George's bed arrives in lots of pieces, so while Mum puts it together George and his dad go shopping for new bed covers. George has a bedtime story before his first night in his new bed.
Join Nadya as she builds a den for the first time. Nadya and her mum and dad go to the woods, where they make a den with sticks and leaves. They then have a look around a large tree house, and Dad asks Nadya if she wants to build a den at home. The next day they design their very own den and find the materials to build it in the garden. Once finished, Nadya enjoys playing in her new den with Mum and Dad.
Join Jessica as she takes part in a dance performance. She has been given a solo part in her end of term dance performance, so she goes to a dance lesson to see some different types of dance. She chooses to do street dance for her performance. Jessica attends a dress rehearsal, where she tries on her costume and gets ready before her big show. The next day she arrives at the theatre where she takes part in her first dance performance and gets the crowd moving.
Join Samuel as he creates his own painting. Samuel loves drawing, so Mum takes him to an art gallery and asks if he would like to do his own painting. Samuel and Mum go to an art class to learn how to paint and then go on a mini-beast adventure to get some ideas for his painting. Back at home, Samuel paints his picture of a butterfly and gets it framed as a treat. Samuel learns how to frame the picture and helps Mum hang it on the wall.
Join Freya as she goes stargazing for the first time. Freya loves space. She paints a model of the solar system, talks about planets with her mum and then looks at the night sky through a small telescope. Freya's mum and dad then take her to an observatory. There she meets Hayden, who explains all about the moon and the stars. Here she gets to see a piece of the moon. Freya makes, and then launches, her own rocket before using a big special telescope to view the night sky.
Join Emily as she has an operation on her ears. Emily is having trouble hearing, so she goes to see a doctor. The doctor examines her ears and then sends her to the hospital, where she finds out that she will need a small operation to make her ears better. Emily then goes to hospital for her operation and meets the nurses and doctors who will be looking after her. After the operation is over, she gets a present from her mum for being brave.
