Næturvaktin (English title: The Graveyard Shift) is an Icelandic television show. The series was first shown in 2007 on Stöð 2, on Sundays from September 16 to December 9. In the same year, the series won two Edda Awards, one for Best Acting In A TV Series and another for Most Popular TV Series.

Næturvaktin revolves around the lives of three employees working at a petrol station in Reykjavík. The eccentric supervisor Georg Bjarnfreðarson (Jón Gnarr), has five degrees and a fond admiration for Sweden and Swedish culture. Ólafur Ragnar (Pétur Jóhann Sigfússon) who is a regular employee is a simple, well meaning guy who has ambitions of becoming a band manager. Daníel (Jörundur Ragnarsson) is a former medical student who has recently cut off all relations with his friends and family because of test anxiety and depression. He starts working at the gas station at the beginning of the series.
