Prospectors follows a group of miners searching for the rarest gems in order to strike it rich. However, they risk life and limb daily as they face extreme climates, weather and other perilous conditions in every step of their pursuit.
Spring storms wreak havoc. In other events, Dwayne forms a team to tackle Mount White; Rich faces a 20-ton quandary; and the Busse and Cardwell families return to Mount Antero.
Storms threaten the prospectors' payday; Dwayne and his team hunt for aqua; the Dorrises return to the Smoky Hawk; the Busses endure storms and injury; and the Cardwells hit it big.
Rich finds a large smoky quartz crystal at the Agnus Dei; Amanda and Jessica hit the biggest pocket of their careers; the Dorrises break ground on Krystal's first mining claim.
The prospectors cash in at the gem shows; the Busses close out the "Thank You Lord'' claim; the Dorrises invite young rock hounds to their claim.
