Joined by her husband John and a cast of special friends, including Sandi Toksvig, Alison Hammond and chef Tommy Banks, each episode is a unique culinary adventure. Beyond the kitchen, Prue celebrates her personal food heroes both locally and beyond. And husband John gets to grips with a varied mix of country activities on offer in the Cotswolds. The series is a celebration of food, friendship and fun – with easy-to-cook recipes for every occasion.
Prue is joined in her kitchen by Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge, who cooks smoky beef and short ribs and talks about when he first started cooking as a boy. Her husband John heads off to a local vineyard to pick up tips on becoming a successful wine producer, while Prue has a mouthwatering hack for garlic confit that can be stored in a jar.
Prue is joined by designer and TV presenter Patrick Grant - who makes slow-cooked fenugreek lamb - John builds a bold dovecote, and there are tips for making cakes.
Prue hosts Jo Wood - who cooks a magic chicken dish and talks about organic off-grid life - before making blinis and being joined by John to make a seafood paella and tapas.
