"Rise of the Antichrist" - Over the last two hundred years, the Antichrist has been identified with such "threats" as modernism, feminism, the Soviet Union, rock music, Darwinism, and the formation of the European Economic Union. We visit an Evangelical Church that believes in the Antichrist, End of Days, the Rapture etc. and discuss specifics of the followers' faith. What are current signs? What do they mean? Who's the Antichrist? Using the present as a point of departure, we'll look at the history of Dispensationalism, John Darby's system of biblical interpretation that has spread throughout conservative Christian communities by way of the influential Scofield Bible. How close are we to Christ's return and His final showdown with the Antichrist? What do prophecy believers predict as the timetable for the emergence of the Antichrist? (Source: H2)
