Scot Squad is a spoof of 'blue light' reality shows like Traffic Cops. Jack Docherty stars as Chief Constable Cameron Miekelson, and the show follows the adventures of the first Unified Scottish Police Force. Scotland has a new band of 'Bravehearts' on the streets, in the countryside, on the phone and behind a desk. Tough, brave, valiant and fearless - protecting and serving the public - on call twenty four hours a day, seven days a week the Scot Squad serve up an arresting mix of crime and comedy. Featuring in-depth interview footage with the Force's first ever Chief Constable Cameron Miekelson as he shares his philosophy on law enforcement and his hopes and dreams for the future. Elsewhere, Volunteer Officer, Ken Beattie buys soup for the homeless and reassures a victim of washing line theft. Traffic officers Surjit Singh and Hugh McKirdy get a rude awakening when they pull over an unlikely lothario's defaced van. Urban duo Jack McLaren and Sarah Fletcher make a revealing discovery when they respond to a pair of convivial naturists.
Covert cop Archie Pepper pounces on criminals who share too much on social media. Volunteer officer Ken Beattie answers a distress call and undertakes a full programme of cleaning, washing and ironing. Chief Cameron Miekelson keeps his nose to the grindstone and his ear to the bagpipes as he personally selects a contemporary playlist.

Knights of the road Singh and McKirdy turn firefighters to extinguish a dangerous inferno and sample some delicious sausages. Traffic officer Hugh McKirdy regrets going commando - his partner Surjit Singh dutifully provides cover while he seeks out reinforcement undergarments. At Coms HQ, there's a promotion for Maggie Le Beau, but the new call centre team leader soon discovers a breakdown in communications. Retired Police Chief Sir Neville Archibald selects the swankiest of eateries for an elongated procedural discussion with Cameron Miekelson. The local cop shop becomes a hotbed of political activity as officer Karen encounters an unstoppable force of passion. Cop comedy cuffing crime in all its guises.

Out in the sticks, an outbreak of dodgy merchandise on sale in rural pubs sees Charlie McIntosh and Jane Mackay going undercover - with a little help from an all-time music legend on a night off. Volunteer officer Ken Beattie shows up at a city centre van to receive soup, sustenance and key info on shady deals. The Chief discovers a whole new world of insults when he flexes his itchy trigger finger and samples online gaming, while Maggie Le Beau produces the perfect piece of equipment to cut short any pocket dial.
Fighting the lawless and ensuring the law wins. Volunteer officer Ken Beattie wrestles with a dodgy dealer and the dilemma of whether that dealer is or isn't offering him a bribe. Officer Karen is in the middle of something and has no time whatsoever for whatever Bobby wants to bother her about - even if it involves a famous face recognising a community hero. Party animals go wild in the country as Charlie introduces Jane to the etiquette surrounding the rural festival known as the Butterfist. And the Chief pushes his professional productivity to the max as he receives an open razor shave at his desk.
