Sugar Free Farm Season 2 Air Dates

S02E01 - Episode 1 Air Date: 10 January 2017 21:00 -

Sorry, but right now we don't have any sources for this episode.

It's the first episode, and upon arriving at the farm, reality star Gemma says, "My lifestyle is out of control. The amount of money I spend on takeaways, I could probably buy a house by now."

Much loved comedian and King of the Jungle Joe adds, "The reason for doing this is there are so many people out there who are Type 2 diabetics and they don't know they are and I don't want to end up as that person."

Keeping a tight rein on the farmhands, as well as providing the healthy recipes to fuel the group, is the show's new nutritionist Hala El-Shafie who warns, "Sugar Free Farm is not about dieting, it's a complete lifestyle change. It's tough and it's about to get a whole lot tougher."

As the celebrities adjust to their new lives down on the farm, where they are tasked with fattening up the pigs, removing the fencing from an old animal enclosure, spreading muck, harvesting courgettes and lettuce planting, amongst other duties, tempers start to fray and the lack of sugar starts taking its toll on their bodies.

A fed up Ann declares, "My honest view is this is far more trouble than it's worth…this is work for the leisured quite honestly, or for the enthusiastic. It isn't work for the single girl wanting to get on with her life."

Over in the farmhouse kitchen, Alison prepares a sugar free farm dinner with a difference: spaghetti bolognese using that morning's freshly picked courgettes.

The famous farmhands will need all the energy they can get as, after their nutritious meal, they are helping at the farm's annual sheep shearing. First to volunteer is Ann, who has a go at herding the flock into the sheep pen: "If anybody ever asks was it worth doing a fortnight without sugar? For that experience of herding the sheep…yes!"

Whilst Stavros Flatley Junior, Lagi, puts his qualified barber skills to good use and gets stuck into shearing the sheep, back on the farm, Dr Who actor Peter's health takes a turn for the worse with paramedics being called. When word reaches the group, they are shaken by the news.

The first three days have been tough, working hard whilst adjusting to a brand new diet, so how will they fare over the next 12 days?

Though a positive Alison reveals, "I'm really getting into this. Forget chocolate man, bring on the basil!"

It's the second episode, and four days in, the celebrities' irritability is rising as the effects of their new diet kick in. Also rising is Gemma's weight, a perplexing mystery.

Comedian and novice cook Joe is in unfamiliar territory in the kitchen, and he also faces another challenging situation.

Also, as the famous faces learn to appreciate the natural animal and dairy fats on the farm, Alison and Stavros make cheese and butter from scratch, and a disgusted Ann discovers what really goes into the low fat spreads she eats every day.

Out in the chicken sheds, Gemma continues her quest to find a farmer husband.

Meanwhile, as Peter returns to the farm following his medical drama, Alison suffers a dizzy spell and is referred to hospital for a full diabetes test.

Also in episode two, Joe does some ‘trout whispering' while out fishing, temperatures rise between Gemma and Stavros Flatley, and when two of the famous farmhands are caught having a midnight feast the chickens really come home to roost!

S02E03 - Episode 3 Air Date: 24 January 2017 21:00 -

Sorry, but right now we don't have any sources for this episode.

It's the third episode, and the celebrities have reached the halfway mark on the farm. Eight days in and they are no longer craving the sweet stuff, but there's no rest for the wicked as resident nutritionist Hala El-Shafie is raising the stakes…big fat juicy steaks.

For some of the famous faces, hard decisions need to be made, as they must pick some of the farm's livestock to send to slaughter. While Alison and Peter struggle to play god when it comes to the young buffalo, Joe finds the life and death decisions of selecting which pigs to send to the abattoir too much.

In the Walled Garden, Gemma hopes her efforts will earn her and her fellow farm hands some delicious vegetables for that night's dinner, but head gardener Andre isn't too optimistic.

Elsewhere, as the celebrities begin to feel the benefits of sticking to the farm's natural, healthy diet, Stavros Flatley Senior has a rude awakening about his famously large belly as he undergoes an MRI scan.

Also in tonight's episode, Joe faces a real test for someone with no stomach for slaughter as he makes black pudding, Ann and Gemma take control of a couple of tractors and make hay while the sun shines, and Stavros Flatley Junior is confronted with the grim truth about his beloved breakfast sausage sarnies.

Finally, with juicy buffalo steaks on the menu for dinner, it looks like Gemma picked the wrong day to go vegetarian.

S02E04 - Episode 4 Air Date: 31 January 2017 21:00 -

Sorry, but right now we don't have any sources for this episode.

It's the final episode and in just a few days' time the famous farmhands will be returning home, so they need to prepare for their biggest challenge yet… temptation. Will they be able to keep up their healthy habits or will the outside world prove too hard to resist?
