Season 9 begins!! Clark has gone full emo vigilante. Zod has arrived. Lois returns from her brief trip to the future. Chloe and Oliver grieve Jimmy in their own unique ways. The legend Brian Austin Green joins us today to discuss his role as the titular villain Metallo. We talk about how he sunk his teeth into such a dark role in spite of how uncomfortable the breastplate was. Maybe that's what made him angry, but who's to say? We recovered from the zombies (kinda) and now it's on to some good old fashioned mind-reading. In the episode, when Clark saves a factory from an explosion, the blast temporarily gives him the ability to hear everyone's thoughts, most notably, Lois's. And who will finally lift Oliver out of a dark place? His bitter ex/business partner Tess? Or his bitter whimsical nemesis the Toyman? Major props to Justin Hartley here as well.
